I think they will release 3 more on friday and than stop. Than somewhere in the end of August announce next trailer. We will possibly also get GI story next month.

Some amazing looking screens. Only gripe I have is with the bushes, and that's super minor to me. Other then that, not sure which one is my favorite. They all look spectacular and all show off a particular thing. The dirtbike screen shows the great detail done on the bikes themselves. Tennis screen possibly shows an activity we can do and the kind of homes we will see? Then the parachuting scene shows the excellent detail of the countryside, along with the excellent looking lighting effects.

 

Definitely getting excited for even more info soon. Thank you R*, I hope this means release isn't far off.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned or cares but, if you zoom in on the parachuting picture on the mountains you can see a trail and by the bushes it looks like a human body there. Or maybe a tree

My biggest gripe is the lifeless sky. Its just a solid blue. The country club picture sky+ background looks like a kid drew it in paint for reals.

 

If that picture had been leaked a few months ago no one would have believed it was real.

They took the screns in sunny weather I guess. When it's sunny the sky is also bland. Well, the graphics are STILL better than IV even in that screen so I'm getting the game and I want more screens.

You know that is true... I lived in SD for 2 years and it was crazy sunny. I actually remember saying how unrealistic the sky felt in SoCal.

 

So I retract that statement. Im really excited though. The game is looking like its going to be epic

Picture 3 (V-8-1280.jpg) without the logo, again using Photoshop CS6 content aware fill tool. Picture 2 doesn't work well with the content aware tool though... I'll see what I can do but I'm not promising anything.

The house with the tennis court is in the hills. Look behind it, there are more houses. There is going to be an area in this game with country houses in the hills.

 

The parachute screen suggests a vast open space with nothing around. Dirt tracks not real tarmarc roads. That says countryside. Or do you expect farms full of pigs and cows?

Perhaps that gorge will separate the first and 2nd areas.. maybe we will start out in the sticks with no access to air vehicles.

Could the river in the parachute pic an be island 'boundary' like say the rivers in IV?

 

maybe not that exact point in the map butybe that river is part of the 'divider' betwwen city and countryside? just a thought...

 

edit - also the dirt bike pic looks more like chilliad than the trailer mountains, just saying, not saying it is chilliad...

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that R* is HIDING things on purpose, they have their reasons for showing us what they do.

Alright, here's picture 2 (V-7-1280.jpg).

 

First version using content aware fill, result = sh*t.

 

Second version hand-edited, result = sh*t too (sorry but I don't feel like doing a better job at this right now, I hate that kind of work).

 

Oh, just noticed I unfortunately used the content aware pic as the base for pic 2 so it's even sh*ttier than it would have to be. My bad. Still, DIY if you need a better version, I don't feel like it.
