That road in the parachute scene looks brilliant. Can't wait to drive down there!

My biggest gripe is the lifeless sky. Its just a solid blue. The country club picture sky+ background looks like a kid drew it in paint for reals.

 

If that picture had been leaked a few months ago no one would have believed it was real.

I can clearly see that the vegetation looks like sh*t because of the lack of AA. I have good eyes for such things. Everything looks weird because of this sh*tty Aliasing effect.

deepthroatgta6: I wasn't aware. But still, Photoshop content aware replacement stuff should help.

I am a noob at PhotoShop, man.

I thought the content aware tool works only for videos because the replacement is made through different frames of the video.

Maybe I was wrong.

 

Can someone do me the favor of removing the logo?

Remember: The screenshots always looks worse than in actual motion. Just take a look a the official screenshots from GTA IV.

Usually it's exactly the other way round though, screens look better than motion. But I'll take consolation in the possibility that they'll work on the graphics more when we get closer to the release date.

Well, it is sunny southern California. I grew up there and there are more days with perfect weather than not. Seems realistic to me.

Aw, that's a shame. So I imagine you'll be leaving the site then? I mean, if you think the game has PS2-era graphics in this day and age, I guess you'd have no interest in it anymore. It'll be sad to see you go; your interpretation of the Epsilon Tweets made a lot of sense, and your contact seemed right on the money, but I suppose if you've gotta go, you gotta go.

It looks like a reflection from a small pond that is there. Otherwise it's a glitch. It definitely doesn't merge well with the bush on the left but oh well. Maybe we are seeing another early shot since a lot of problems have been picked out in this particular shot. Just because they are releasing them around now doesn't mean they have to be new or up to date.

Sry but in the trailer the textures in the distance looked so crisp. I think you are lying to yourself if you cant see how bad the hills in the back look.

 

Im not one to be a graphics whore, but I expected better than this after that awesome trailer.

 

I still love the pics though. I love the atmosphere they provide. The setting for the parachute pic is awesome. The blur/focus affect on the dirtbike scene is similar to the affect in the bicycle screen and i like it alot. And Im stoked to run amoke in those rich neighborhoods.

 

Just not a fan of the textures in the distance. Sorry again

Who cares about graphics? It sure won't be worse than GTA IV,and IV has decent graphics.And when it comes to PC there will be some graphic mods for sure.

Can't wait for the trailer 2.

I was just going to say, it's a sunny area. The climate is hot and the bright sky conveys that better than if they added clouds and what not. I've never been to CA but everyone knows it's always super hot and chances are the skys are always this clear.

They took the screns in sunny weather I guess. When it's sunny the sky is also bland. Well, the graphics are STILL better than IV even in that screen so I'm getting the game and I want more screens.

To me RDR and GTAIV look much better in motion. Biggest reason being because everything around you was moving, and the fact that RAGE has great physics and animations. Second reason is because when I sit 2 feet from TV and playing a game with 3rd person view textures are not half as bad as when I see close up screens.

I was just giving my opinion. I will still love this game. I still play games from the PS2 and N64, and I love them

 

But the trailer made the distant textures look so awesome.

 

I have a feeling that the textures will look better in gameplay, kinda like how some things only look good in motion.
