GTA V Screenshots - Transport

In case anyone was wondering: apparently Photoshop CS6 does NOT have that deblur/reverse beer googles/anti shake feature. It was just a tech demo and was not included in CS6.

 

So we won't get any less blurry versions of the screenshots any time soon.

The moment I saw these, I was like wait...... This is GTA V!!! so good to have more screenshots and more coming this week!

So. This is the whole state re-built from the ground up. It is South California. They say most of the game is Los Santos but since there will be flyable aircraft, there must be 2 airports. Also, the Interstate 5 freeway will be in this game, and that runs from Mexico - San Francisco. In the GTA V trailer at 0:30 there is a freeway called Los Puerta. Means open door. Maybe that is San Diego in GTA V, similar to how New Jersey was Alderney in GTA IV.

Seriously though, these screenshots are beyond amazing. I just worry about the console graphics, since everything thats been shown to us thus far has more than likely been from PC.

I think maybe the consoles will look just like GTAIV with better lighting, but I hope I'm wrong.

Actually, everything they showed is in 720p.

 

The debut trailer and every screenshot released fo far is rendered in 720p which means it's the console version, so don't worry.

Just got online. The screenshots are incredible, but it's like porno -- I prefer stark, less flattering shots so I can see more detail. Still... SCREENS!

Don't even bother, I've been trying to correct people on that all day. Someone here thinks that because it is missing an 'H' (it's the sun obscuring it), that means it's not in the same universe as GTA IV. It's like a loony bin here sometimes.

They said some new assets soon and a trailer when they're ready.

I feel pretty positive that the remaining screens they show later this week will be more forms of transportation in LS.

Here they covered bicycles, cars, plane.

I predict bus/metro tram, a boat cruising the water (maybe the jetski?) and motorcycles.

Seem plausible?

 

Also, the three screens released today really do look amazing.

Anyway I just wanted to add the "We" can weight train obviously as there is a gym on the beach. I bring this up because the bicyclist is not an average guy, he's obviously fit or toned. His arms look cut. Anyway, I see a bracelet or a rubber arm band on his right wrist. The "Hiker' has this as well, most likely not him but thought I would point that out.

You bring a good point here. All this time i thought this was just a shot from a ped using the bicycle, but this could really be the protagonist too and he looks waaaaay more slim than balcony guy.

i dont think its the hiker. the guy on the bike is mexican or black. at least thats what i looks like to me

I just made the most inhuman sound ever. To be honest, the Five screenshots released so far look kinda like they are part of a trailer. They are almost cinematic in their angle.

It's possible, but I think if they do, it will just be tidbits of new information here and there like these screenshots.

 

I say this because in the Asked & Answered thing they mentioned not wanting to reveal all of the surprise elements before the release of the game.

 

Personally, I think the next trailer will be rather like the second IV trailer, they'll reveal a bit more of the city and some more information about the character(s), but ultimately it will leave us with even more questions.
