Since it's T-60B, there is still a chance to see T-45d and T-51b, which may be typical armors just as in previous games. This one may be some kind of experimental unit (at least I would like it to be).

There is T-51B and T-45B as shown in the gameplay trailer, not sure if T-45D will return or not.

I'm going to say that the t-45b is the same armour as the t-45d. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a typo in the demo. Or the b is a version of the t-45 that doesn't require the recon armour to put on.

I doubt they are going back to just being put on like a tshirt armours for the power armours. I'm guessing it was do to gameplay reasons why they allowed us to carry them in the first place. Now with newer tech, they can have the animations for getting in and out of the armour.

There is a picture of that being the case with leather armour.

I didn't mind the enclave. They were a great source of caps and energy weapons/ammo. Only if they return i hope they're more in flux - the story being more dynamic. 3 basically said "THEYRE THE BAD GUYS!" and what I love about New Vegas is that there isn't really a bad guy. It's all perspective.

Everyone in the legion exists only to serve a purpose.

 

People living in Caesar's territory have it pretty good, too. Not that you really get to see that in New Vegas, since there are only really forward camps.

I just want the classic Advanced Power Armor MK II making a return from Fallout 2. I suspect the X-01 is it's successor. Looks pretty close to it.

You mean the Mark 1. The Mark 2 was retcon into what it looks like in FO3.

 

I just hope they get the hellfire armour in. Who doesn't want to look like a demon pig?

Fallout 1/2 were great but there's really no going back to how those games were designed.

having played 1/2 back in the day, I still found plenty of reasons to enjoy the sh/t out of Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I always felt they were equally great but for different reasons; they're different types of games than the original 2 titles.

 

people who still complain about the lore or storyline not being exactly how they remember it need to simply pipe down, get over it, and move on. like who cares? then again I'm the guy who gets all pissed off when they remake a movie I loved as a child so

 

I dont think Fallout 3 did anything serious against the lore of the previous Fallout games, in fact Fallout Tactics: BOS was probably a bigger transgressor, but then New Vegas tied most of it quite well.

 

I was personally mad at Fallout 3 because the story was basically a bad copy of F1 and F2 without all the interesting places, characters and side story... But then again Fallout 3 was still a great game when it came out and it revived the Fallout franchise and it made New Vegas possible.

 

I just want Bethesda in general to step up their game and finally make decent characters and interwoven story-lines with multiple endings.

Different strokes for different folks. Sometimes a little a little bad has to be done for the greater good. NCR are not without their majors faults either. That's what makes new Vegas's factions so great...no faction is without fault.

I was personally mad at Fallout 3 because the story was basically a bad copy of F1 and F2 without all the interesting places, characters and side story... But then again Fallout 3 was still a great game when it came out and it revived the Fallout franchise and it made New Vegas possible.

As much as I like Bethesda, they aren't the best writers.

 

And even if Fallout 3 revived the franchise, I've heard some FO1/FO2 elitists say the franchise should have stayed dead. A whiny, miserable bunch for sure.

I love Fallout 3, I really do but at the same it isn't hard to see why older fans of the series hate it. The dialogue in the game is mediocre at best. [intelligence] is now required to make stupid statements rather than intelligent ones. There are no choices that change the route of the story which is highly disappointing. There is clearly a more larger emphasis on guns rather than role playing elements. While the atmosphere was amazing, DC looked like it had been nuked a couple of hours ago. The game tells you the "good" and "bad" choices. The beautiful lore created by the first two games was ruined in some ways too.

 

New Vegas goes for a more "RPG" feel than FO3. The writing is a lot better. The towns are a lot more realistic, it has more references to the first two games than FO3. The setting perfectly fitted the fallout lore. The quests had a lot more ways to complete them and the game in general offered far more freedom than 3. There were no clear cut "good" or "evil" choices. Don't get me wrong, 3 is a very fun game but it certainly is not a proper role playing game.

 

I say this as someone who started with fallout 3 and has never played the first two games.
