Craigsters 2,159 Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) I've been working on this build in Sanctuary a huge 4 door garage warehouse were the roundabout used to be, just finished the lighting inside the garage warehouse , and decorated the outside first, all the building's are built and the garden plots layed out and turret's built and working, the residents is all done inside with 101 beds if need be, bunk beds The sign on the garage says sturges, but the name is to small to read, the orange tarped roof is the caravan trading post, I have a mod installed that has work benches and counters for each vendor!.. I still have to decorate the inside of the warehouse garage and have everything for that!.. Edited July 6, 2018 by Craigsters

Radiation can be easily cured with RadAway as well which you will eventually loot and collected in your inventory. There are doctors in cities and there is a wandering doctor around who can cure Rad for a few caps. There are merchants who sell RadAway too. Just loot some guns and trade them off for RadAway. Easy peasy.

Easy peasy. It can be useful if you want to explore under water. Once you get to level 25ish though, most materials can be purchased for anything as the game gives more things to the vendors to sell...and if you have a settlement with a few shops and you’ve been selling all your weapons and excess ammo...it becomes easy to buy anything. So with the excess, you can make anything you want with ease and explore wherever.

Doctor Holliday 218 Posted July 7, 2018 I mean, he's got a point. In playing Fallout 4 you'll spend very little time in the water because there's virtually nothing to find there compared to what's on land. There's barely a handful of quests that require touching the water or exploring it for any reason. If you need to take a dive and you're really worried about some radiation, it's just as simple to pop some meds beforehand and never waste any valuable skill points on a minor perk. trip 13,441 Posted July 7, 2018 I do tons of swimming. Even early on just as a means to get from point A to point B faster. I'm just about finished my 3rd complete playthrough(w DLCs in order). I like spending that one point early. I hoard all my radx and radaway like a madman.
Cutter De Blanc 13,815 Posted July 8, 2018 I found a Jangles the Moon Monkey in a pipe out on the east side of the map way under the water once
Doctor Holliday 218 Posted July 8, 2018 Yeah and you can find 10,000 more Jangles on land If you're only using the water to travel then just pop some meds. Again there's no good reason to waste a valuable skill point for something you'll engage in so little.

Companions can't die, but NPC's in towns and factions can. The Glowing Sea is in the Southwest of the map. It's a death world full of high level creatures and filled with radiation. Doctor Holliday 218 Posted July 9, 2018 Going for that Clint Eastwood 2077 vibe... I'm like the Irradiated Plains Drifter with a Fistful of Caps up in this mug. Make my day, punk.

Took some trial and error to put this outfit together because it ultimately consists of numerous layers from different mods and authors, but it's probably my favorite build to-date. From the wide-brim hat to the fingerless gloves to the steel-tip boots. Already updated the eyepatch from a simple leather cover to something more high-tech which can support armor attachments like the recon visor and night vision. Almost all the pieces of apparel have either got heavy weave and/or legendary attachments as well. The other half of the apparel are just the aesthetic items that don't actually do anything, like the holsters, six shooter, backpack, headphone mic, dog tags, sniper rifle, cigar, and the katana on my hip. Wasteland sex appeal. Like I said, there's several mods working together here, but the base for the outfit itself is called Mojave Manhunter; https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32214 Edited July 13, 2018 by Doctor Holliday
Fireman 1,177 Posted July 13, 2018 (edited) My Sunshine Drive-in settlement. Took me a few dozen hours. Here's some highlights: Edited July 13, 2018 by Fireman
Shaundi. 10,906 Posted July 14, 2018 Are the bethesda servers down for anyone else on PS4? I can't seem to access my mods list because the connection always times out but there's no problems accessing creation club.
Craigsters 2,159 Posted July 14, 2018 My Sanctuary build with the big warehouse garage and it's settlement blueprint from last week that I showed here became corrupted and my game kept crashing when trying to export my finished build of Sanctuary from last week, I started a new build on either Wednesday or Thursday and just finished building and decorating it, this time my garage is smaller and the warehouse is next to the garage connected by one tile room only and my gym is next to the warehouse, it has a basement for the vault tec stationary bikes owe and I built it up front in Sanctuary near the big wooden bridge this time, going to export it to settlement blueprint after this posting
Doctor Holliday 218 Posted July 17, 2018 I admire you guys who can spend hours building complex settlements. I've never had the patience for it. But I do love spending time customizing the hell out of my companions and loadouts.
Cutter De Blanc 13,815 Posted July 17, 2018 Nothing like spending days and days building my settlements only to have my save file corrupt. Mysterious Serum is the best way I've found to traverse the Glowing Sea
Mokrie Dela 2,916 Posted July 18, 2018 This is why I have about 200 fallout saves. It's rule #1 with Bethesda games. I should share my settlements, though they're non modded saves...

Tchuck 3,090 Posted July 19, 2018 Same here. I pop in every other week to do something on my settlements. I just love building crap. I wish there was a game that would focus more on the scavenging and management/building of settlements.
S1ster P1stol 256 Posted July 20, 2018 I can't seem to play FO4 for very long. It depresses me so much but I like playing on my modded save. My friend sounded surprised that I sided with BOS and kept Danse alive. I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I still have to finish the Automatronics DLC and I'm at the point where I have to fight the hoards of robots but I'm so damn low on ammo, I'm gonna have to load a previous save and use all my caps I would like to go back to my 2nd account because it's only my modded game and Codsworth calls me f*ckface lol. Also need to find Billy so he call me an asshole :D. I normally go good guy on my first go around on games so having the chance to be an ass is fun lol
Skyline_Mad 66 Posted July 20, 2018 (edited) I created a test character a few weeks ago, called her Assface, it was mainly for trying to get the game in working order because of the many problems i've had with the 0kb issue. Well when i finally got the game working again i decided to stay on that character, i usually forget what her name is until i walk past Codsworth and he calls me "Miss Assface" lol. I still can't decide if i want this to be an evil playthrough or not, originally i made a plan to make as many evil choices as possible, like siding with factions/npcs that i normally wouldn't. So beating the game with he Institute, siding with Lorenzo over his son Jack, siding with the Scavengers diring the USS Constitution quest, killing the Mechanist, Destroy Far Harbor and finally siding with the Raiders at Nuka World. But i just can't bring myself to be nasty to people lol, and because i did preston's quest at the start of the game, i can't avoid losing him as a companion if i side with the raiders (even if i turn on the raiders), so i'm thinking of doing a "Good" Ending with the Minutemen again, if i make the right choices i can save the Brotherhood of Steel and the Railroad (Only the institute is destroyed), i have done it before but that was on a character i can no longer access because of the 0kb bug. Damn i miss some of my older characters, and their huge settlements i built, but if i want to return to them i have to reinstall the game again (another few days wasted), and make sure to only install the correct creations i had when i last played those saves, creations after Slocums Joe can't be used on those saves, so no AMR, Nuka Cafe, Condo, Captain Cusmos etc... It's just having to reinstall the game every time is so frustrating, why can't they give us a creation club budget like only have a certain amount installed at a time (to help limit 0kb), and when we hit the limit we can uninstall a previous creation we don't need on another character, instead of wasting days reinstalling everything. Or i should just wait until i can afford a new PC and then i can avoid all that nonsense (well most of it anyway). Shaundi. 10,906 Posted July 23, 2018 Does anyone know the name of the last two mods in this pic? Either one of the two or both are the reason why I can't apply invisible paint onto armor. I don't know or even remember what I deleted when sorting my load order.
Skyline_Mad 66 Posted July 23, 2018 Could it be UCO? aka Unified Clothing Overhaul That mod allows making armor invisible among other things i noticed the 2 file names say dlc3 and dlc6 at the ends, so i could be the additional plugins you may have deleted, which ones they are i'm not sure, just look in your mod list for UCO and see what dlcs you have installed, and then see what ones are available to download (if it is UCO that you originally downloaded that is) Also you could always remove the individual UCO dlc plugins and just use the season pass version instead so it only uses 2 mod slots instead of like 7 or 8, that's what i did and has helped free up a bit of space (and limit the 0kb issue) Hope that helps
Shaundi. 10,906 Posted July 24, 2018 Now that you mention it, dlc3 seems to be the Far Harbor plug-in and 6 is Nuka World. Didn't know accidentally deleting plug-ins disabled features.
