Bethesda is really f*cking around with their Asian and Japanese region users. Usually DLC takes more or less 3 weeks to release there and now the Vault Tec DLC still isn't there yet. Holey f*ck.. lol.

Really praise da lord that back then I couldn't get an R3 copy and ended up with R1 instead. Unbelievable.

I thought you didn't like people complaining? Lol

I hope nuka isn't like said above. I need to crack on with my vault

The constructions done; at 2x the build limit. Now I gotta furnish it

But holy f*ck was it a pain putting the lights in....

Sorry, no hard feelings, but I really had to say it.

Well, really, you didn't have to. You just wanted to.

Me? Since when I'm against complaining?

Hating a game you play everyday and sharing how you hate every bit about it over and over again in the forum is different matter.

That's not complaining. That's acting toxic.

Good thing nobody does that.

A lot of people didn't know that you can actually get the Elder T-60 paint job in the quest Airship Down.

Gee, I wonder how.

Not really

We generally don't talk too much about the good points - in games or life. You go into a shop, you're offered assistance, but your product, the server's friendly, you leave content - you don't often go home and tell every one "my visit to a store today was good."

But for your visit is bad, then you tell EVERYONE!

Same applies to games. While we do talk about features we like, we notice the bad more.

And this is a Fallout 4 discussion topic. So if there's anything anyone wants to discuss - things they like or things they hate - here's the place for it. Everyone here likes the game. Like me with gta v. But many of us have a lot of Ill to speak of it and TBH we have as much right to state those opinions as anyone else here has to discuss what they like.

Just relax man. I know it can be annoying at times but you're always going to find that.

Fuzz, it'd be better if you'd stop extending the conversation and stayed out of it.

As such,

I've only just now realized that the Overseer's Guardian (Which I'm renaming for sure, hate the name) is better than the .50 cal when maxed out. That's just sad.

My New Loadout:

Left: The Reform (Maxed Laser Musket)

Left 2: Noob Magnum (Maxed Pipe Rifle for low-level enemies)

Left 3: Service Rifle (Fully Maxed Lever-Action Sniper)

Up: Courier's Mile (Fully maxed .50 hunting rifle. It's pretty nice due to a legendary effect that makes it do +25% Damage.)

Up 2: Vertibird Signal Grenade (Because I love my Air Force One.)

Up 3: The Last Minute (Fully Maxed Gauss with Long Scope.)

Right: Rad Gun (Fully Maxed Radium Rifle)

Right 2: Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle (Overseer's Guardian maxed with Muzzle Brake. I think it looks cooler.

Right 3: Radaway

Down: Stimpak

Down 2: Deliverer (Maxed)

Down 3: Victory (Sniper-Barrel, Reflex sight plasma rifle.)

Do you think it could be a possibility that in the next Fallout you can paint your guns, perhaps find paint jobs in magazines? Or is that too un-Fallout?

People over Bethesda's forum are talking about free Nuka Cola posters to celebrate NukaWorld DLC which you can claim from game stores over US and/or Canada.

Worth a check if you're there.

From this thread, http://community.bethesda.net/thread/76775, it seems the participating stores are GameStop and EBGames.

I have to ask, why do people carry so many guns? Once you hit about level 40, you can take down pretty much anything with any gun. Different guns for different circumstances doesn't really wash, the combat is always the same from a certain point.

I actually started out melee, but once I got all the perks I realized it was too easy (on Hard) so I started turning into a pyromaniac. I realized the flamer/napalmer sucked and started becoming a small guns guy. Maxed that, got too easy. Became a rifleman. Maxed, too easy. Sniper. Maxed. Still fun though.

I find it hard to stay with one type throughout the game. Switching it up is one of the best ways to extend the game's longevity.

I think I've mentioned it before but Atom's judgement + melee rank 5 + radiation damage increase + a couple magazines = god mode. On normal or hard, you'll slice through mirelurk queen like butter. Add psychobuffjet and you're the god of the universe.

I think that design isn't optimal for a fallout game as there should be room for mulitipe playthroughs with different playstyles. In 1-NV you could exactly plan out your character and knew you couldn't master every single skill and the leveling systems were much more complex. In 4 you can max out everything on a single character, that's why I always try to limit myself to a couple of main skills and 1-2 weapon types.

Also, if you want a really challenging but fun playthrough, limit yourself to a few weapon types and don't increase any weapon damage perks.

I use a lot of weapons just because I like the variety of weapons in the game. I don't like to use just one, even if the Overseer's Gaurdian is the best gun I have, I don't like to use it that much because it makes the game too easy. I also just like the feeling of using other weapons, like the Laser and Plasma rifles, shotguns ect.

I've actually started using the gun the enemies drop ammo for. The raiders drop .45s? Use the Rad Gun (see my loadout post a bit up the page). They drop .38s? Use the Noob Magnum. It all works out.

I want my character to have the skills necessary to pick up any random weapon and wreck face with it.

1. Variation

2. Preserving ammo type that's currently low, while using the other that has more

white cell fade bleed effect gone, forgot to add a ini tweak

I thought my game was doing that annoying white cell blindness fade effect because I had removed to many wall's and ceiling's and floors in Vault 88 where I shouldn't have, my big rooms that where the size of a NBA baseball stadium with seats, rooms I couldn't see the whole room in tell I got to the other side, the cell kept flashing in and out with a annoying white light, turns out I forgot to add a tweak to do with cell culled!..

bUsePreCulledObjects=0

to do with culled tweak

Update on the tipp: If you think that your PC is strong enough, you can try and add the following line to your Fallout.ini under [Display]

bUsePreCulledObjects=0

posted by Eysenbeiss

here's what my fallout 4 custom ini file looks like

[general]

sStartingConsoleCommand=bat autoexec

bUseCombinedObjects=0

[gameplay]

fPlayerDisableSprintingLoadingCellDistance=0

[Display]

iLocation X=0

iLocation Y=0

bUsePreCulledObjects=0

[Archive]

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

sResourceDataDirsFinal=

[Launcher]

bEnableFileSelection=1

I can now enter all my vault 88 rooms in new areas I created for them without the cell crappy light effect, I used the whole area were both train tunnel's go to the Water purifier room and I deleted part of the uranium mine and built my Vault into it, my Vault doesn't extended to the other three workbenches and I concentrated on the area near the main big chamber going back to the water purifier and uranium mine!..

owe if you remove bUseCombinedObjects=0 from any of your ini files, you'll found rocks and cell wall's back that you had scrapped previously, my overseer's quarters was half filled with cave debris rock and after I re-added bUseCombinedObjects=0 to my fallout 4 custom ini they rock debris went away!..

I was adding and removing ini tweaks to see what caused that annoying white light cell bleed crap for the last week or so in Vault 88!..

Different guns also for different things. A stealth pistol, a long range sniper rifle, machine gun for big fights, shotty for crowd control and an RPG for those big monsters.

My next playthrough, if/when I do one, will be focused around a player base, where all my gear will be. Every mission I'll take what I need and keep the rest at home. I'll probably set up 'caches' throughout the commonwealth to save travelling 'home' too

Lol, f*ck that. Those damage perks are a necessity after level 60. It already takes forever to kill Super Mutant Warlords and Charred Ghouls, and they hit pretty hard in Survival. :/

First thing I did on my modded survival play through was fully upgrade all the weapon perks. Enemies were still killing me in 3 shots with Pipe Pistols, so it was at least fair game. I still get shredded at level 55, even with a weave'd Battlecoat.

Unique weapons in this game are a joke. All they have are normal weapons with legendary effects, slap on a name. With New Vegas, you usually went through a quest or discovered a story to get them, and when you did they have unique models and made you feel like you earned them, not bought them.

While you do earn certain unique modeled weapons in quests (Like Lorenzo's artifact gun, for example) the quests usually just have you kill things (Which is another argument), and you don't feel like you really earned them. Think about This Machine. Think about All-American. Think about CZ57 Avenger, or whatever it was.

Now think about Spray 'N Pray. Think about Wastelander's Friend. Think about Justice.

Worth noting that's literally what the uniques in F3 were, too. As usual, mods to the rescue- there's a great one which turns every one of the legendary effects into a unique attachment which visually differs from the stock weapon.

Legendary weapon drops can look the same, but that the actual unique weapons aren't looking unique at all is quite insulting. It's like they're all simple legendary drops.

I was comparing Fallout: New Vegas. Personally, I hated 3.

And even if 3 had it, why should 4? Aren't games about improving on their predecessors?

It's a warning, Craig.

I cringed each time they died and started over again, I was like it just some damn turrets, shoot at them already, both kept switching back and forth between weapons that where inadequate for the job!..

Does anyone here recommend any decent visual improvement mods for this game? Preferably something that doesn't just make the game darker.

That reminds me, I should probably install the Pip-Boy shadows mod.

I know...argh...

I could ramble a long story about my PC playthough, console playthrough, and my new (console) playthrough that I started the other night and am really enjoying.

But i'll spare you all and just leave a little anecdote.

In the "Crawl out through the fallout" song; the line "While those ICBM's keep us free" will forever be heard as "while those icy BMs keep us free".
