And btw guys, are you converting wpl - ipl using ipl tool? If no, then you have lost your time.

No Hellya does IPLs manually that's why it is so slow with props, what ipl tool do you mean, name? That would speed conversion alot

Try re-installing, didn't work for me too for first time but just re-install and then apply all updates one by one to be sure no crashes happen. smile.gif

re-installing with also include the queen_w2 ?

No need for reinstall just add queens_w2 update and it should work

I've been doing little experimenting, and I've done new camera. If Hellya2011 approves it, I can implement it in main.scm, if not, I'll just release it as it's own script.

 

Some main-points:

-Increased FOV (70 -> 80)

-Working sniper & camera zooming

-In vehicles camera is closer

-FOV increases while driving faster, overdone demonstration here (Will be really small change):

Decided to grab few screenshots from second latest update, here are some bugged areas:

#1: Going near that monument causes crash, sometimes I can't even reach it and sometimes I can drive through. Nevertheless, crash.

#2: The airstrip causes also crashing.

#3: This is really funny bug, it causes my radio-station to switch to Radio Los Santos and it also mutes my radio until I get out of the vehicle and then back in. The car is pretty much on exact location where it happens.

I pass the monument for a couple times but,my games ain't crash smile.gif

 

And,can somebody help me,why can't the DYOM works on PL ??

ok amazing Job . but as i know is that in GTA IV the Camerva even if you are in the car its not following the car its following the player because cars isnt at the middle of the camera its in the left a bit . try to move the camera to right wink.gif . and see the results

Nice idea and I thought it myself too, but it won't be easy. I'd need to do looots of checking for it, so for now I'm fine with the camera used now.

Getting few random crashes every now and then, but I'm pretty sure it's the huge amount of CLEO's I got. Does others game crashes when busted/wasted?

 

And, some update from new camera:

FOV is 80 as default, and increases to 100.0 when players car is going fast enough. Begins to raise from speeds above 36 km/h and stops at 216 km/h, increases depending from speed. Two pics here:

Function-X- has given us permission to use his Overdose Effects in this mod, we will use some of those new effects.

And props and trees are being converted, give Hellya2011 some time, he got real life too. smile.gif

Ive worked on iv2sa some time ago, but i tried to do all AUTOMATICALLY: ipl tool, ide converter, mass model converting, mass col creating, autoset lods etc, else it will take years.

You guys should use all possible development optimization methods, dont do all manually

 

I love the idea using tools to help convert the wpl to ipl but one thing...

WHAT TOOLS? WHERE CAN I GET THEM???!?!?!?

 

i've searched and searched for a wpl to ipl tool, but i can't find one... can you provide a download link?

i've been doing it manually because i dont know where to get such a tool

 

Mass converting sucks

Meshes are all fked up and texture files go wrong many times

Stuff i dont like alot but if i ask you to do them you will loose alot of time(anything i do to them, wont be released dont worry)

 

 

Well what kind of stuff are you talking about? I'm already wanting to improve some things, like since i now know how to make working shadow meshes, i want to add plenty of them, missing textures (of course) but if you have any suggestions to improve the mod, let me know, i'll be glad to here them biggrin.gif

 

Also vans, if you want a beta tester build you can have it if you want it

#1 I dont have a problem with it, i drive through it all the time lol.... maybe on the final v0.2 release when i send all my files, it will fix that bug

#2 i know about the air strip bug, it's on my fix list

#3 yeah, the traffic is a work in progress sometimes they drive where they shouldn't. when i imported it from gta4 everything was marked as traffic 1 right lane, 1 left lane, i still need to define them, mark flags, and remove some

i like the idea of having a FOV when the car is going fast

i have a ton of cleos also on one copy of the installations i play (one for connverting, one for playing) the one with a lot of cleos like to crash on me... The more you mod on any gta (especially scripts) then more random crashes.... even with gtaiv

 

BTW no idea why the quote feature isn't working sorry

The post above me.

 

Since the latest update, I haven't really noticed any crashing near the monument. It seemed to be caused when I drove to the monument from North, but from other directions it was fine. I guess only place crashing now is the airport, but I haven't yet checked it.

 

And, thanks Hellya2011 for the coordinates! I'll try to get everything to work before next release. smile.gif

So, i downloaded it and all, and when i was going to play there was an error with a cleo file and i didn't have msvcr100d.dll, so i got it and placed it on the mod folder and the errors were gone, but it crashed at the beginning of the loading bar. What should i do? (Read the readme? :v)

 

EDIT: sh*t i'm getting confused with 2 mods with the same goal lol

um.... well my mod (beta v0.1) doesn't require a .dll (beside enb, but it's included)

If my mod crashes at the loading bar, make sure of these things:

 

1) Did you run map cleaner? Map cleaner (0.5rc1 is the version i use) needs to be ran first

2) Don't install this mod over another iv2sa mod (a lot of people think it needs vans123's mod, but my mod is seperate from that mod and doesn't need it, install on a clean version of gtasa)

3) Did you replace all the files in their correct locations? Or have you messed with any of the files? Just drag and drop & you don't need to edit any of the provided files.

 

Those 3 are the most problems i here about on people getting crashes from it.

 

the only time i have seen a cleo require msvcr100d.dll is dk22pac's advanced light mod and a first person mod, so if that is the problem, put the .dll in the gtasa main directory (it should have came with the mod you are trying to use)

Queens_w is done, which means the entire first island is finished & lods, shadow mesh, props are in the works!

2-Im happy you finished it, now you need lods, it will make the game look much better

LOL. The dynamic shadows for peds are activated when changing from a lower Visual FX Quality to very high.

LOL. The dynamic shadows for peds are activated when changing from a lower Visual FX Quality to very high.

This. Same goes for all shadows, for some reason the shadow-system seems to be broken and it generates Low shadows for peds. (Blob-texture on ground.)

Is it possible to make IV features to SA ? example like,cellphone,internet cafe,golfing mini games

 

for cellphone,look what i got:GTA IV System

 

Its possible in SAMP,so it can be run in the single player SA but,will it possible run it using CLEO script ?
