How is that? Your map doesn't flicker?

 

I've used large draw distance before on SA in the timecyc, and the game gets glitchy. The map flickers, and if its far enough the water outside the map doesn't not show at some angles. The water bug happens on IV too if I turn it up enough. Anyway, I've only tried the large draw distance on the normal SA, not Project Liberty.

 

But at least with GTA IV's map on SA, you can turn it up and it looks like you see farther because the model scale is smaller.

Sure, but for me it flickers as well. And I tried the 10x draw distance mod on Project Liberty. But, haha, Hellya already used it in his included files.

Looking really forward to see more city converted smile.gif I tested it, I had some problem with some buildings, they were like flashing for saying somehow, disappearing and again appearing, I guess was due the draw distance, but nothing too serious I'd say.

I like these pics,but I guess it will look better if you decrease the contrast(and maybe the brightness) a bit,and remember to add some bloom(keep it without bloom,if you want TBoGT atmosphere tounge.gif )

For me it lOoks too orange/yellow

I know gta iv vanilla has the timecyc like this, making everything yellow

But in personal opinion vanilla's IV timecyc sucks

Nice mod , is there a clothes script to change the clothes ?

Google search "GTASA Clothes Change Cleo" The one i have, you press 3 and it will bring up the menu, works like a charm. smile.gif

I hope to get it where you don't need it, just go to a clothes store, but i haven't got them converted yet, and i'm new to scripting sanny builder, i know the basics, so yeah... BUT i will get it done later on in the mod. I'm Focused on the map at the moment.

 

Small Update:

The mod isn't dead, like i read in a previous post dozingoff.gif I can't get online everyday, plus too, i can't convert and take screenshots at the same time sarcasm.gif But there has been progress! Brook_n is almost done. Past few days i've been busy, that's life, but its almost done, then after that the remaining 2 parts (queens_w & queens_w2) isn't as big as brook_n so i should get them done faster. Then i will work on LODs, Props, Interiors, and try to get more shadow mesh on models such as trees. Screenshots will be up when i get brook_n done, i always post new screens once i complete a part of the map biggrin.gif

 

I know im getting a lot of hate because beta v0.2 is delayed from what i stated before, but i won't release it until i get the 1st island done. We are almost there! Be Patient! notify.gif i think beta v0.2 will be well worth the wait lol.gif

Guys these pics are just some messing with timecyc editor i have no idea how to edit it to make it look like IV

 

If someone can make IV timecyc for SA i'd be thankfull.

I bring some awesome news today! Brook_n is finsihed and i have began working on Queens_w2! I have also tried working on the shadow mesh for the trees, but i can't get it to work right. The shadow falls through the map

I've tried to use vertex weld, and several other things, but no help at all.... i'll search online tonight to try to find a solution.. maybe someone knows why this happens... whatsthat.gif

Other Beta Testers i would like to ask you if the game crashes for you too ? For me at second loading screen it crashes and i can't find solution but when i remove lines from gta.dat that load brook_n.IPL and brook_n.IDE it works fine.

HELP?

Same here. Tried some small adjusting but no luck, only way seems now to remove those two lines...

 

And, Hellya2011, could you define the update a bit more? What's new etc.? smile.gif
