I never found IV subway tunnel system placing coords

Hope you can find them and finish the subway system once superficial one is done

well, same here... just like interior coords.... no idea where they are kept

@vans123 - they are placed like interiors. It means placing by-hand.

@hellya2011 - no, IDs weren't corrected, but I'm going to do it today.

@ItsAllAboutGTA - we will I guess.

@DK22Pac - indeed it is ProjectIV

They are kept in a new interior sysem introduced with IV called MLO.

 

 

Think of MLO as it's own coordinate system because it is placed from a dummy node center with MLO's name in WPL files while the real MLO placements are held inside IDE files which contain the sort of offset of the placement in the center. You won't find the interior props and stuff placed in WPL's because it is a part of IDE MLO center which i briefly explained above

 

I can give you further explanation if you're interested.

I found out that system while trying to convert interiors. After that, thay all (interior's models) have almost same coords. I think it is impossible to set them rendering well at least in GIMS.

@Garju - doin' right now.

 

Update:

 

bronx_e, bronx_w, bronx_w2 merged and working in-game.

 

Some screens today.

 

#edit1 - bronx_e2 was also merged, for a while I will make props for them. That area looks the way better, than it was before re-exporting. Thankfully to IVLM, of course.

As you can see, most models of manhat has been re-exported & no longer have the pruple roof & they look amazing with xXaerooff2Xx's timecyc with dk22pac's Advanced Light Mod! (+enb of course)

@UP - hehe, great!!

 

Anyway, I have corrected IPLs and IDEs so mh05 and 12 are working in game now. In short - we have whole manhat (not totally fixed yet) working in game!!

Did you export and place all night lights too?

If not do it, will earn you time

 

GTARandom: so is there any posible way to render them to have atleast an overview of it

So people can recreate the placements by hand in SA?

 

Better yet, any way to see their placement lines?

im must be in fking drugs, thats the closest result to IV look-a-like setting for SA i have ever seen

im wondering, will you release it? i mean you always do so amazing stuff for ENB but not all of them released

 

i dont wanna look like a noob kid asking for it right now, but those settings definetly have to go out for public, thanks for making that great effort makarus

Isn't there a mod that adds IV like rag-doll physics to SA?

 

How do you guys think this would work on VC Mobile (on new devices)? Would Liberty City fit in VC map bounds?

that directx enb really looks like GTA IV,COOL,AMAZING,AWESOME,and whatever it is cool.gif

The bottom 3 screens remind me of a mixture of TBoGT and Saints Row The Third.

there is a ragdoll mod by Ryosuke but it is more like the source engine. GTAIV has endorphin physics, but ragdoll and endorphin are two totally different things.

Vans, IV uses more complex lights. (For example, look at Bahama Mamas lights). They are directional at first, and projected on building correctly. In SA, its not possible to get same result with default 2dfx.

You can look at .ide files in IV, there's 2dfx section present (Its like lights from pre-released game version). There too much parameters, hard to understand some of them.

It has SSAO, and some other effects enabled, so most likely it'll lag. But I'm amazed on what he's done so far. inlove.gif
