Hellya if you have xxaeroof's parts how about a little private release when merged?

i still don't have his parts... he is using a tool to merge the .ide & .ipls without having model ID conflicts... he's going to send them here soon once he gets it completed

im very happy when i have the mod,but there's a little problem when i play gta pl,LAG,of course mad.gif ,implaying gta pl with my old pc,but i have make some change by deleting IVLM cleo,soo this is how its look when im playing gta pl without IVLM:

There Is a solution: buy new pc

 

Hellya if he has whole manhatt and he needs your 02(if i remember correctly) how about starting Alderney/Jersey so that next beta will be the last one aka final map release?

Its crystal clear that mesh has no collision lightning, method R* used in III era games to make it

Look more real time lightning. Thats not your Pc problem man

 

IVLM uses a big corona which produce their own light in SA, therefore why CJ is lightned, just wait for hellyeah

To fix collisions lightnings or keep using IVLM for now

You need to open collisions with ColEditor, put the correct material for feet sound and then take lightning as high as you want to simulate lightning

Auto installer can be done when the whole map is complete,idk

As xXaerooff2Xx had an autoinstaller for his two GTA IV Renderware releases and he works with hellya on this mod now, then I guess the next update will have one too.

This mod REALLY needs to use mip maps on textures. It looks like sh*t like they flicker. I can even notice on the screenshots posted here how some of the textures don't have mip maps which is just enough to make it look bad and very unpleasant to play with flickering. Other than that awesome work and I look forward for the updates.

Honestly, all these people are begging for mip maps? I have never once experienced flickering textures, all that i can see that mip maps will do is increase the size of the mod, and plus to we are to far into this mod to worry about something small and stupid like mip maps... suicidal.gif

 

And to everyone wondering about an update:

 

I'm not sure exactly where we stand on the merging part, but i don't think much of project liberty will make the final cut. It isn't a final decision, but xXaerooff2Xx has his own broker & dukes converted, and like he pointed out, they don't have as much missing textures as mine and stuff... so i guess that is the part holding some of the progress back because we are stuck on whose broker & dukes to use. I think that xXaerooff2Xx really doesn't need me anymore at this point, but only time will tell so everyone be patient.

 

I know that this is probably uneeded and crap... since manhat02 has already been converted by xXaerooff2Xx but in the past few days just to keep me entertained and keep from losing my mind notify.gif i worked on some of what project liberty was left off on... just for the heck of it i guess dozingoff.gif

Yes. I couldn't decide which part of map shall w use. Hellya's ones is great, but it has plenty of missing textures. And I think it will be better to mix our parts by putting my objects and txd files into last PL's release. I don't want to be selfish, and I don't want to be like a "Whole that is my map!!". I really don't, but when I remaind my self long hours, evenings of fixing them one by one, I'm trying to don't puke. So, if my friend, hellya, would be able to do it instead of me, I think case of question "Which part do we have to use" would be solved.

 

Then I can work on manhat. smile.gif

I just hope you aren't angry for lack of progress. I'm not a machine and I'm not being paid. Sometimes I have no motivation. It's normal while work on something big.

But I will try to show something new in days.

why would i be mad at you? heck, i've been so un motivated with project liberty that it was all i could do just to get beta v0.2 out... especially with the lods... OMG... PLAIN LOW QUALITY MODELS AND LIKE 300 FOR EACH PART suicidal.gif i didn't go past brook_n2.. started brook_n but then i was like screw it i'll just release it devil.gif

 

so i guess if i fix the textures it will be like orginally planned... my broker dukes, and your bronx and manhat, plus my njliberty & nj05 (when finished) turn.gif

I guess it would be nice if you use xxaeroof's broker and dukes and manhatt (except for 01 part, if im right) and hellya nj_liberty... Hellya, while xxaeroof is working on manhatt how about converting Alderney/jersey part ?

No, we have to fix current manhat. It has plenty missing textures.
