ccrogers15
Im thinking of buying this from best buy: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/CyberPower+-+G...1&skuId=4686573 But need to know if the specs are all good for current gen games. Im talking about playing games like GTA IV, GTA V, Dead space 3, Tomb Raider 2013, Simcity 2013, Resident Evil 6, Etc.
xI Jakk Ix
The AMD FX 4100 isn't exactly a great processor, but for the price that seems good. However, the GT 520 will get you nowhere. If you want to play games like GTA IV smoothly, I suggest going for GTX 600 series/late 500 series or a AMD 7800 or 7900 series cards. They can handle current gen games pretty well and can overclock rather well too. If you buy that then buy a better GPU, bear in mind that the AMD 4100 might not be enough to fully use the high end cards, so I would suggest buying a different PC with a much better processor (Intel i5/i7, if you like AMD then maybe the FX-8100). TL;DR - You won't be able to play current gen games with that PC, at all. Edited August 16, 2012 by xI Jakk Ix
ccrogers15
What would you recommend? I can go up to about $1500 in desktops. (Not yet, but will be able to in about a month)

(Not yet, but will be able to in about a month) Sorry, submitted my edited post after you posted, so be sure to read it again for my recommendations. If your price limit is $1500 to spend, then you're going to have a field day finding PCs with high end CPU's and GPU's.
fgcarva1
Spend the other $1,200 on cheap whores games.
Knightmare
You'd be much better off building instead of buying, the premade cheap desktops will need a bunch of upgrades usually. Including the one you linked. $1000 PC Build for example. With that one I'd get a 128GB SSD and a cheaper video card, should last you years.
