tomi19
Well. First of all, I want to upgrade my computer by little steps due my low money, so, don't laugh about my CPU, and I still have DDR2 I have this PC now: ECS AT780GM-A Athlon II X2 250 3.0GHz 3GB RAM DDR2 800MHz XFX ATI HD4670 1GB DDR2 Western Digital 160GB HDD PSU generic (400W) Now I want to buy a Radeon HD7770 1GB GDDR5, but I'm afraid i'm gonna need a PSU but I don't know. I readed some benchmarks and this card consumes 8W on idle, 50-60W on maximum and 40W on Average. In this page it says that I need 290W, but who knows. Thank you guys in advance! Narcis_speed6
This should help you determine the PSU needed with all the new parts together.
tomi19
Yeah, it's just like the page I posted on OP. It also says I need 300W, but my PSU is generic so that "400W" are not real. How can I now how much wattage it supports really?

Knightmare
If your current PSU is a few years old you should probably replace it anyway, but 400W should be fine for it. Make sure it has a cord to power the card though if your card needs it. Thanks -shaDow
yoječ
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817139026 Not really a good value, I'd pay $5 more and get Antec 400C, which is ironically more powerful and has superior build quality. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817371029
