So he markets the game even more, some people start to pay attention, and they find the game interesting, word of mouth advertising starts and alot of people start to look forward to the game. The dev invested a lot of money on that. Now, on an established franchise like GTA, people are already talking(even outside teh forums), so why would there be a need to give out any info to hype the game when the game is being marketed all by itself?
