Think of it this way, suppose that GTA V is a girl(yes, crazy, but just suppose for a moment). Now, guys chase after beautiful girls trying to gain their attention. The girl has to do and show nothing and every guy has her attention. Now, if every guy neglects the girl and doesn't give her attention, then she would do anything to become popular and gain the attention of the guys. So, think of it this way, we dont pay attention to GTA V, dont discuss anything about GTA V(idealistic situation I know), and automatically R* would give us GTA V info. This could work. Take a look from a business point of view: You have an already established franchise(GTA V). You can EASILY get free marketing from the people talking continously about GTA V. So R* wants to squeeze as much as possible from this free marketing before they start their own. In the end, they save a ton of money, and every company wants money. So, you want us to stop talking about V? Theoretically if you could get everyone in the world to forget about it, it could work, but even then i have my doubts, the game will be coming at the same point in time regardless of information. This idea is bogus, in theory it could work like i stated, but that's the same thing for communism, that f*cking theory went well didn't it? Rockstar isn't releasing information because at the moment the game isn't close enough to being finished that they can share a lot of info with us. I see the point and R* is/was laughing at us demanding more info while they're seeing how people want this game and start countless discussions, trailer remakes, etc. They wouldn't even need to advertise the game cuz everyone is talking about it. You're onto something there, but too many people want this game and won't stop digging for info. The interest in this game only gets bigger, people won't turn the backs on this game. As soon as R* releases new info, they're/we're on it. The only thing which could put the pressure on R* would be an equal or better competitor, but there isn't an established franchise like GTA out there. So, back to waiting I guess. EDIT: As for the GIRL METAPHOR, it is a good one, but it's rather like this: GTA V is the pussy we want. But this very pussy knows she's the only one around, so it's either masturbating or having sex with her. But the latter could mean an epic wait.
