The word nob just seems to enter my head whenever i see and hear that. I do this sometimes, not in public areas though cos i feel stupid, but when i am riding or walking, headphones fallout and damage your ears and my cans are under repair, so there is a reason sometimes to play out loud. It seems that most peoples are concerned with what is popular right now. Just wear what you like. I know that's kind of impossible because after all, we are all influenced by others, but at least you won't end up looking quite like everybody else if you try. What I really don't get are those pointless accessories. I don't know what's the name of these glasses that so many people wear, you know the ones the Skrilllex also wears. They are pointless. They aren't sunglasses, they are just those big nerdy glasses that are supposed to make you look cool. Out of all people I've seen wearing them, they all looked like douchebags in my opinion. It's ridiculous that clothes matter so much these days. I hate that. Saw it once, where a female driver in front of the red light will not let the ambulance behind her pass. The ambulance has its sirens blarring and she just won't budge. I know it's a red light, but she should have at least drive round the corner, but nope she doesn't, all she does is (wearing her bug eyes sunglasses) think she's far more important than the patient behind her just because she drives a f*cking Merc. Instead you have this huge line of people standing on one side and some dick blocking anyone in a hurry cause they're too moronic to step to one side. Twice as bad when in/near a train/bus station where people are rushing for buses/trains constantly. Also when I'm about to cross a road near , check to see if any cars are turning in, none have their indicator on so I start to walk. There have been a number of cases of people getting fined for triggering traffic light camera by doing it. Personally I think it's pretty stupid but the idea is that ten seconds of extra time in a patient's journey, regardless of how serious the illness or injuries, is better than the potential risks of driving into oncoming traffic. Of course, it's completely fine to drive to the side of a light to allow one through- just not through it. And, other traffic can't enter or break the procession. Not that some drivers don't try. "Thinner" I've never seen approaching traffic do anything but yield to a turning procession. I think in Canada, if you're in a situation where you're at a red light and an ambulance is behind you, if it's safe to do so, you make a right turn (of course, you need to be in the rightmost lane). Granted, in big cities, that never happens, especially here in Edmonton since people are pretty damn thick in the head when it comes to right-of-way.
