GTA 3 was the hardest GTA

Try this up for size. In GTA 3 punch in three cheats and just try to make it from one end of the city to another.

6 stars

Riot Mode

Citizens Attack you

I bet you won't live. O and no using bulletproof vehicles or getting in tanks, that destroys the purpose.

Umm.. no I don't think so even with the stars up to 6. The cops AI was not good but in San Andreas it would have been tougher. alien.gif

Maybe it was terrible, but police rams into your dick and it is hard to escape if you don't know map. Police in GTA IV is easier.

Only if you are not very very good at it. Since I've had experience in Police pursuits I don't take a lot of damage from the cops maneuvers.

Yes - experience and knowledge of map makes everybody GTA 3 master wink.gif

But don't think I am much of a proffessional when it comes to GTA III. Maybe GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. sigh.gif It's just that I've forgotten a lot of the game. confused.gif

Off-Topic:

Hell no, GTA 3 Cops are medium tier, I can easily escape without dying on any wanted level any time any where, but in GTA IV, cops shoot through windshields, get mad even if you do a slight thing (Jump on cops car),

do anything, you'll get yourself cops on your ass, GTA IV's cops damage the vehicle and you, while GTA 3's damage the vehicle. Well, Maybe they are hard for me since I experience a lot of lag and freezing, slowing me down, but still...

GTA IV's wanted level is Not the hardest though. GTA 1's are, you cannot escape them no matter what, so better don't do stupid sh*t tounge2.gif.

Overall, GTA 3 is medium for me,

GTA 1 and London DLC's are the hardest for me, I want to pass everything without death or being busted, but since I can't save... Took me ages to complete Gangsta Bang with all Missions and Secrets Complete without being Busted or Wasted.

You can't save, you can't do much crap, It's mostly luck and a little skill.

GTA 2 is much easier though, it's less frustrating but it's fun...

And GTA1's and GTA2's cops just SIMPLY pull you out or at least punch you once and you're busted!

Also, Filip, if you play GTA IV on consoles, when you shoot, it autoaims on the head, making the game VERY easy, if you want something harder try PC. I prefer GTA IV on PC much more than on XBOX360 and PS3. Consoles are easier than PC.

But I also hate Auto Aimers on Multiplayer who play on PC.

This, totally this.

GTA 1/ London Packs are by far the hardest games of the series.

If I remember well, you would die with only one single shot. lol.gif

And Bulletproof-Armor wasn't so useful back in the day. wink.gif

I don't think playing on PC would be a harder challenge. Instead, free aim on consoles(360, PS3). Now that would be harder. Also, GTA 3 is harder for some people because you have no full map (like the sequels), FBI was a pain in the ass, but only if they caught you without a car (AK's dangerous) etc. To me some missions are still challenging, even after completing it a few times.

I said that most people talk that police in GTA 3 is hard. I must say that for me, GTA 2 and VC cops are the hardest sh*t.

Cops in GTA are extremely easy to evade. Cops in the Driver series however.....You actually gotta have some skill.

Not all GTA's have easy cops. VC's are pretty frustating, since they always target your car's wheels first. Also, I remember playing GTA 2 and the cops were just simply, unavoidable.

Easy to me. Spikestrips are easy to dodge, and driving on flats isn't a problem.

Also depends on the car.

I must say that the cops are annoying as f*ck in Vice City but their stingers were easy to dodge in any car.. colgate.gif

If they did get you though you'd be in trouble as the cops are pretty much suicidal by that point. Avoiding them isn't easy when you have no grip.

As a professional player, I can only add that except for at least knowing a map and having a good grip on controls, your vehicle also makes up for it.

Since no car within the limits of this challenge can stand up against the Rhino, it is advised to choose the car that is not slow but is tough enough to bash through the Barracks roadblocks. The best choice for this matter is either the Patriot, the Enforcer or the Sentinel (both civilian and Leone versions). Other cars have either slow speed and acceleration, light mass or crappy handling. Even a decent car like Stinger or Cheetah will not make up for it as it lacks mass to blast through the Barracks blocking the road.

Other thing to keep in mind: Rhinos are deadly so it's best to shake them off as soon as possible. The game's AI directs all Emergency Vehicles to follow the player from behind, while trying to get ahead of the player and ram him off the road. Because of this, speed is as crucial as handling. To shake the Tanks off, take advantage of making them crash into traffic (if there is some remaining) or crash into each other. Make them blast in the Barracks blocking the road, with the Barracks wrecks holding them off from proceeding after you. Use the advantage of narrow alleys, passages and ramps - all to shake off the Tanks, making them crash into objects, flip over or sink.

Another good advice is to use off-road terrain - including as much slopes and hills as possible - all done to avoid the influx of Rhinos on your back. All grounded Emergency Vehicles are bound to the traffic routes programmed within the game and will only follow the player onto the off-road terrain only if he/she is in their direct line of sight. Only the Police Chopper can follow the player everywhere.

Avoid narrow streets and close quarters - this is an ideal place for the Rhinos to get you. This mainly concerns Saint Mark's, Red Light District and Chinatown - these boroughs have narrow streets with buildings framing it all along. The only exception is Waterfront Promenade.

Avoid Porter Tunnel. Use only bridges and boats to move between the islands. Porter Tunnel is closed quarters, and with Rhinos spawning inside, you'll be dead in less than 1 minute even if you are a professional. Unlike any further GTA game, no police boats will follow you on water, leaving the player to deal only with the Police Helicopters on his/her tail. Just make sure you have a vehicle to switch to once you disembark, because taking time to hijack a vehicle from the roads under 6 stars is a suicide - even for professionals.

=====================================================

As an alternative to everything said above, use the Dodo to move around the city from one end to another. But be careful! The Rhinos will spawn in the Airport area, and on the runways as well. If you are not vigilant enough, you're finished.

GTA2 are the hardest just try to survive with army after you.

The army would go in big squads with machine guns in the streets and the would block the ways with tanks shooting at you. Man its a nightmare.

  • 3 weeks later...
Cops came in bunches and didn't eff around.

Ans should I even tell that I didn't meet a single roadblock in LCS, except for missions?

Although the cars' tyres were all solid and even if the cops had gone around setting spike strips they would have done no damage to the car's wheels. And that's what I like, really. No popped tyres, no need to avoid the spike strips. But the cops' aggressiveness and precision, added to the good handling of their cars and well-placed roadblocks, more than makes up for it!
