ThisIsHorosho
...And i mean not just properties, i mean assets in a manner they've been implemented in San Adnreas! in order to obtain asset you'd have first to buy certain property, than you should have completed all jobs there and when you completed final mission you could acquire it as an asset and have daily (or weekly not sure...) income...would you like it to return in a similar fashion in GTAV? or you'd like it to improved/changed or as a whole not put in the game at all?...as for me i'd like to see it return, but this time it there should be more properties in my opinion, there weren't quite a lot of them in San Adreas and in my opinion there should be half of the city that protag can own as an asset! but thats just my wishful thinking... Vice City did all that first, where was you ? Assets were first introduced to GTA in Vice City which obviously came out before San Andreas and you had to do all those things you stated anyway - buy the asset, complete all the side missions that come with it and finally start earning a weekly income from it. Alenko
Yeah, assets would be a good idea for V, just as long as I have stuff to spend on from the money I gain from them. IV had sh*t all but a few weapons and burgers, nothing! I want to spend my hard earned cash, not let it sit. MACCHUU1
It would have to be a part of the "building an empire" concept that has to be a part of chasing the "almighty dollar". Buy a liquor store, and hire goons to protect it, and the property gains a certain amount of money every hour, that you need to collect over time. And repeat for different properties (Chop Shops, Nightclubs, Casinos, Clothing Stores, etc.), and owning the property gives you a discount for whatever they sell. You should also be able to upgrade the property to increase hourly income.
Pyrrhic
It's not like it'd make the game worse so sure, why not?
Dick Justice
Given the theme of the game, I would be disappointed if assets didn't return. I also think Vice City did assets better than San Andreas. The ability to choose which business to buy at which time as you slowly built your empire was perfect. San Andreas kind of forced you into owning the car showroom and the airstrip and everything else was simply obtained in the story. Of course, both were better than not owning assets in IV; that game was ripe for small-business owning and I'm still disappointed they left it out. Frantz Fuchs
Yeah! that was a good way to earn money. Maybe you could buy houses and rent them too etc

XxSea12HawksxX
Hell yeah! How could would it be to own a car dealership? But aside from selling different cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. You could have an illegal business operating out of the back. Say like drugs, weapons, prostitution, etc. And maybe when you steal a car you could bring it to your dealership, get it painted a new color, maybe customize it and then sell it out of your dealership? Or with a house or an apartment you could either leave it empty, use it as a Safe House or rent it out and make money by doing so. And you should be able to customize your pad too. I could go on and on with ideas, but I'll leave it at that. 'Nuff said!
