KM964
Here's the story.... I installed the game (V2 with V1 patch, and some car mods) awhile ago and went through the storymode. But, here's the thing...at the Doherty construction site, the ground was not solid, and if you tried to walk on it you would be sent to Blue Hell. It was not fully drawn either, and you would see the pipes and crane just floating in the air pretty much. Fast forward a bit. Today, I installed a new texture for the garage in Doherty. Though, when I went to check it out, I noticed something...the ground at the construction site was completely solid, fully drawn, and you could walk on it. The game crashed. Now, if I go anywhere NEAR the site, the game crashes. It doesn't matter if I'm in a car (either modded or standard, it'd still crash), on a bike, or even in a plane high above the site, THE GAME STILL CRASHES! Heck, one time when I was driving a train, it crashed as soon as I came out of the long tunnel in southern San Fierro. I tried to take the mod out completely by copying the maps>SF folder from my backup to the original, but it didn't change a thing. The texture was still there, and the ground was still solid...and it still crashed. I backed it up two days ago, so all of the original building textures were there. Heck, even when I run it as an admin with ZERO mods, it still crashes! What should I do? I don't think it's anything to do with my hardware. But here's some info about my system anyway: Windows Vista 32-bit AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ 2.70GHz 3 gigs of RAM Also, if it helps, I have lots of (mainly car) mods installed, with a couple of clothing mods, train mods, and the SAkina map mixed in there. I also have CLEO (with one script, a car spawner), and Stream Memory Fix in the SA folder. Though, another thing is...when I go through the car spawner (for example, from car 423 to 450), the game will crash. Before I installed the memory fix, it didn't do that. It doesn't matter how fast or slow I go through it, it'll still crash if I go through a large portion of it. I appreciate any help.
ZAZ
take always an unmodded game to find the reason of such problems removing mods don't make an unmodded game before you start any modding you should make a backup, make a copy of the whole game installation you can make 10 copys, then you have 10 game installations and can run 10 different game installations each with different mods but keep one installation to have an unmodded game installation so take an unmodded game and install one of your map mods and test it if it works fine, then install the next map mod and test it and so on CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial
