I think GTA V will be the best game of the 7th generation as well.

It's not an assumption, it's a direct statement regarding future events. And as such I find it idiotic.

Oh damn totally missed Fallout 4 on the list... damn... that may have changed things.

 

I looked at it that if I'm going to be stuck with a game forever I better enjoy the world. I guess I could've gone CoD or Halo for unlimited multiplayer... but I could just invite a few friends over and controller swap if nothing else.

 

I'll stick with GTA V from what I've seen. Though FO4 would pull me away if I get to empire build in post-apocalyptia. Like setting up caravans and improving livelihoods throughout the wasteland.

For me Mafia III would be the only thing that would make me think twice.. but if it would make the same mistake with the II, that there's no replay value in it or no real free roam, then I'd take GTA V.

I think I would stick with GTA.. I just thought that I played GTA for the first time when I was six so, yea.

GTA V, without a doubt of that list. none of those even come close.

 

However, if Eternal Darkness 2, the next Zelda or Shenmue III were on that list I would hesitate... before choosing GTA V!

 

 

GTA is my favorite series, plain and simple. I've been disappointed lately with the most recent games in the series but it still remains my favorite (with Zelda a close second). I doubt they will make the story and characters any worse than GTA IV, hopefully improving on them greatly. V will no doubt have the largest map ever and will have content rivaling San Andreas. If they get the right story, side stuff and replay value as well this may be the greatest game of all time.

I would rather get Final Fantasy Versus XIII than GTA V.. but its not in any of the choices. Next would be Arkham 3, then GTA V. Dont know why, but I just aint that interested in any GTA anymore(but hey, waiting for the game is still fun)

I really can't blame you. After how bad GTA IV was that I didn't know I wanted another GTA game. But after how good RDR was I can give R* one more chance.

I really can't blame you. After how bad GTA IV was that I didn't know I wanted another GTA game. But after how good RDR was I can give R* one more chance.

Never played RDR so dont know about that.. GTA IV is just too damn boring. Just completely ruined my interest in GTA. The storyline is great but hell there isn't anything to do AT ALL afterwards. You cant even shoot people for fun without getting a frikkin' wanted level all the time.

I feel the same way. I don't know how these people say GTA IV is more fun than SA. SA and Vice City were my favorite GTA games. If GTA V doesn't bring back the fun like Vice City and San Andreas than V might be my last GTA. It's cool to have a good story but make sure you have things to do after the game is done.

In this situation its all about replay value. Fallout has the most single player replay value, but on the other hand GTA has both single and multiplayer. Tough choice. Honestly I'm tied between 6 or 7 games. Especially since you put star wars battlefront three on the list. Been waiting for that game for years....

To be completely honest, yes, GTA games have been vast and chocablock of content, but I wouldn't chose GTA V as my title of choice.

 

Purely down to all of the sh*t I could do in Just Cause 2, I would route for Just Cause 3 as being my final ever video game, I am really into Open World and Just Cause 2 was just out of this world with its map-size.

Oooohh!!! For me, this was a very hard and close choice between GTA V and Gran Turismo 6, as they are my two favourite franchises ever. In the end, I ultimately went for GTA V, due to the fact there is more to do as GT6 would be just racing, but still racing is one of my favourite things in the world and I know that Gran Turismo would have a sh*t tonne of replay value.

 

Besides, theres still racing in GTA V, only that its not as exciting or realistic as Gran Turismo.

What you've said reminds be of the wait between San Andreas and IV, and the wait betwen GT4 and 5

I remember waiting for GT5 hoping to be much better than GT4 which was dull and hard to play with such bad graphics, and surprise surprise GT5 still wasn't the real driving simulator we would love, especially before the update, but i trust you if you tell me that next gen will be the one real mega addictive racing simulator.
