Nah Tso Gud
This one may excite a few "old timers" on the forum.. The late 80s/early 90s Bill and Ted movies are getting a new addition complete with the 2 original actors that played Bill and Ted - Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. Here's a brief conformation link that includes some minor plot spoilers from Keanu himself. http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news/8471...-Ted-Movie-Plot I've got to admit I'm pretty excited I just picked up a double-pack DVD with the first 2 movies for like 6 bucks last month haha. Robinski
Excellent! It's been a while. Hope they can pull it off.

Exkabewbikadid
Just a shame Carlin won't be in it... RIP Rufus. That's what I was going to say. It'll be interesting to see how they manage to reboot this series seeing how the originals are very much time capsules of neon 80s valley speak. Iminicus
This won't work. These movies are part of the time period more than anything. It would be like remaking Clueless, you can't do it because what made them funny only worked in the 90's and 80's. They should leave these movies alone. Creed Bratton
Those were the only movies where Keanu changes his facial expression.

Look at the remake/film version of Miami Vice.

I do agree to a certain extent.. it probably just won't have the charm.. I strongly dislike media nowadays. I am hopeful that they can pull it off though.. I will be very critical of the new movie, just as I would be if I were watching an on screen rendition of a book I thoroughly enjoyed. Also for me - watching old movies is similar to listening to records as opposed to MP3s etc... I'm a big fan of 90s TV and it just feels wrong to watch it on an HDTV.. I actually busted out my old CRT tv to watch my Salute Your Shorts Dvds after I felt cheap watching it on my Aquos :\.
Nah Tso Gud
LOL, just happened to catch Bogus Journey on Comedy Central, and there was a Primus cameo... never realized it.. cool.
Otter
I'm a huge fan of, uh, fan service... so I'm holding out hope for this. Sounds like it's going to be a blast. I'm sure you all know I don't hold anything sacred. Except perhaps Jurassic Park.
John The Grudge
Has Alex Winter acted since those movies? I think he's been more on the creative side since. I know he did a cartoon on Adult Swim. Not sure what else. Him and Reeves have been friends since though so I'm not surprised at this. I predict that Reeves will be awesome in it and it'll be a great movie. Oh yeah Winter was in that vampire movie......what the hell was it called...
WF the Hobgoblin
The Lost Boys. He says he gave up acting in favour of directing.

This would be like The Warriors in a modern setting. Ugh.
