Hi guys. It's Complex Synthesis.

I'd like to know your opinions on that.

I personally believe that Rockstar does an awesome job choosing the songs they want to include in the game. I personally discovered a lot of great music by playing GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas and GTA IV.

I believe that music plays a huge role in the games.

I remember that 'Pruit Igoe' track giving me shivers when watching one of the GTA IV trailers.

And I loved many songs from GTA IV's radio stations.

And now I'm totally in love with the music track from the 1st GTA V trailer. It really catches that atmosphere, and you can feel that atmosphere which Rockstar wants you to expirence.

I am excited about the upcoming music from GTA V.

Are you?

Thank you.

I think it's one of the more important environmental things in the game, the music sets the mood of a big part of the game, which is driving. I think all GTA's have well chosen radio stations and music, my favorite in IV was The Journey, other than that I didn't like IV's radio that much. Personally I think VC had the best soundtrack, and SA coming in on a close second with K-DST, Radio X and K-Rose.

You remind me of this guy, CasinoTown. Dont know why sarcasm.gif

Anyway: I want more 'popular' songs. Like songs that have been or are in the top 40 in the US.

I didnt vote, because i think songs are very important, but i think R* can and should do a better job at this. There is no option in your poll for that.

Yeah it's pretty important because it helps with the tone and atmosphere of GTA's city. Riding through Ganton with "Dr Dre: Deep Cover" blastin on the radio is awesome. Cruising through Liberty City with "Smashing Pumpkins: 1979" is awesome. Driving on South Beach in Vice City with "Cutting Crew: I Just Died In Your Arms" on the radio is, well Awesome!!! Would like to ride through Los Santo's with "Dr Dre: Still D.R.E" on the radio cool.gif

Wannabe in LS

I like that they mix more obscure, but thoroughly decent songs. Their music choices seem to fit the games perfectly.

I hope they do a better job. IV music sucked. VC and SA had the best Music in there. I could just drive around hearing some good music. Not in IV.

I want more obscure/underground music like they had in Gta 4. I want some new music not something I've heard a thousand times on the radio.

IV was so bad that I honestly can't even name a single song.

I never even changed stations because I never payed attention to the music.

Yeah the music really shows you what the plot/setting is all about in the game.. in Vice City it was all tropical and 80s, San Andreas was Rap and 90s etc.

Love the song from the first GTA V trailer

I love the songs rockstars uses, they may not be my first choice in songs but when put into the context of the game they turn out awesome. I think Gta 4 was a bit of a let down though

The previous titles always had a moment where I wouldn't want to start a mission or finish a mission because there was an awesome song on the radio.

S.A. had an awesome sound track, and if you got board you were sure to find something to like on the other stations. I still have an inkinling that I've missed a song somewhere.

V.C. was in music terms epic, there wasn't a single song that wasn't a top ten hit at one point or the other in the 80's.

Gta 4 was an utter letdown because the music was so current. The music was base on trends beside a real solidly good music.

As for Gta 5 I think they should go back and rethink there radio station and reintroduce those from San Andreas with a Newer spin. and absolutly nothing from the current pop charts.

I want more talk radio, More Lazlow and more music Ill never admit to singing along to.

I love Rock and liked TLaD's LRR. I think they should let players request songs of different genres, like for different themed stations.

I agree with you with pop charts and bad mainstream music in IV.

But how about radio stations like The Journey FM, Jazz Nation, International Funk 99 and Fusion FM for instance? That music is great.

The Edge and Holy Thursday by David Axelrod? That music is timeless.

Don't think it's going to be possible to beat Rise FM, it'll just always be the most memorable for me. I'm glad they keep trying though.

Kinda have to agree IV was the weak link so far.

I didn't like GTA IV's music at first, but then I came to the realization most modern music sucks and R* couldn't really do much about it, but some of it is pretty good. I always listen to The Vibe. Reminds me of when I play VC and chill listening to Emotion 98.3.

VC and SA have memorable soundtracks simply because of their time periods and most of the music is what people grew up with. It's easier to identify with.

Though taste in music is as subjective as an opinion.

I find the music very important. Off topic, I hope there is no radio on motorbikes and scooters, and probably aircraft as well.

Was it that most of the songs were "underground" for you?

Didn't have a problem with IV. Actually created a vibe for the game, just like Vice City.

I agree with you.

And all radio stations are different genres. So there's something for everyone.

I don't give a sh*t about music and I often turn off the radio while driving.. I rather listen to the sound effects.

And I can't believe that I am the only one who voted for the third option..
