If it's good, I'll get it. Yeap, I realize that this is not a COD topic, I asked to see what you thought about it, since you play COD and are somewhat looking forward to Black Ops 2? I just want to know how a COD fan feels about this, I mean, What type of info can you give about COD Mutiplayer that people don't already know? So saying it's a world wide reveal and hyping it up like that was a bit misleading, in my opinion. Non the less, as I said earlier, COD is a big name and the sales speak for themselves. I like COD, will probably buy black ops 2 ay 1 however its multiplayer aspect is not something that requires all that hype. The wording made it seem like it was about something we had no clue about. Regrdless of whether Activision had released the trailer/gameplay or not the cover would of been a big letdown. Not because its COD but because its not something very secret or mindblowing. I really liked CoD 1-4 but everything after it was just rushed piece of crap. Activision use since 6 years the same old graphic engine that is advanced a little bit together with a rushed 3-4 hours story and a sh*tty multiplayer. I only like the Zombia-Mod of Black Ops a little bit but it's getting really old after a few days/weeks. Thanks to god that Rockstar Games is still there. I love this gaming company. Oh shush. They're a games magazine - they report on games. The COD series is an extremely popular and successful franchise that means a lot to many gamers - why wouldn't they hype it up? Because you don't like it? There are too many self-entitled kids whining about the lack of GTA:V information and lashing out randomly. Guess what? Games magazines only report what they're told. Also: there are other games other than GTA! No, really! And - they report on all games! GTA isn't the centre of their universe all the time! It's nice to see GI explaining the situation, but don't think it's an apology to GTA:V fans. Because they do not owe you one. Well they never said it would be GTA V, they didn't owe us an apology at all, but they gave one anyway, and Raynos they were paid to hype the cover, what else are they going to do? And they weren't allowed to tell us what it was. To keep all the people happy they did need too. No body gives a crap about Call of Duty but 12 year old fan boys and Causal Gamers. They should of put a real game up in there. Plus everyone already knows about Black Ops 2, what else is to be explain?? dude, you could say the same thing about the GTA fanbase cause it does largely consist of 12-18 year olds who are casual gamers as well (just look at this forum) ... ... COD is a good game for what it is a Multiplayer party game. and R* north are not exactly programming geniuses either buddy its not like the GTA series is some revolutionary gameplay masterpiece. Yes, not even III is, everything R* did with III was done by other developers before and in a better way. GTA fanboys need to calm down, game mags don't owe us anything and R* neither. the humor is what makes the GTA series so awesome IMHO. gameplay and graphics are mediocre so far at least IMO. Strongly disagree! This forum isn't the only GTA fans, considering this series was launched in the 90's it's got a pretty big 18+ fan base, me being one of them. The very moment Activision/Treyarch released their trailer, GI AU should've made a post saying "our cover is not part of a worldwide embargo and the game itself has already been revealed, sorry!" But they didn't do this; in fact, they did the exact opposite: when I went to sleep last night, I was looking forward to a huge game reveal and the ending of a worldwide embargo. When the GI AU editor-in-chief went to sleep, he was thinking about how there was no worldwide embargo and they were revealing nothing that hadn't already been revealed. This sort of message just makes me think 'what the hell?'... Honestly, it's like you think GI OWE you information on GTA V. They don't owe you or anyone else info on GTA V, which by the way isn't the only game that's due to come out in the next year or two... People just need to accept that another GTA V trailer or info will come when it comes, getting your hopes up by looking into things waaay too much is just silly. You're only setting yourself up for disappointment over and over again. Just chill, play some other games and just wait for info like any normal person would and quit bitching when info doesn't when you YOU want it to.
