And, what are you basing that on besides your own love of GTA? Because, I just watched a live stream of sleeping dogs for about an hour. It's really good. Environment has NPCS doing various activities including having conversations with one another and one guy was fixing a scooter, the combat looks like it flows well, and the story is actually a pretty good undercover cop story.

 

I mean, I like GTA too, but that doesn't mean other games can't be better.

Was it like 10 months from when GTA IV was announced at E3 and then the first trailer late March.

By September it will be 10 months since the first V trailer back in November.

Only two more Max payne 3 events this month and thats it, plus a GTA IV event

Lol don't mind his post. He's just a bit pissed because he hasn't been able to get ahold of a copy and has been teased by a billion of his friends playing it on Steam (including me, sorry bro).

 

And yeah, even on Steam a lot of people I see are playing this game. Certainly shows there was a demand for it.

 

Also, I've been playing it since yesterday and while it's no GTA it's a pretty damn decent and fun game to pass the time with. My only issue is the driving but meh...it can't always be perfect after R* spoiled us with IV.

Well considering the fact that GTA has been around for 15 years, and Sleeping Dogs is technically a new IP, of course its not gonna sell well compared to GTA.
