AirWolf856
Since there has been talk of multiple protags, what if you could soul jump during different scenes and start playing from that character's point of view? I think it could be an interesting way to play different characters but up to the player to choose who they want to play. For example, let's say you have four people meeting for a drug deal. During the deal, you could soul jump and when the deal goes bad, you would then play as that character till the next opportunity to soul jump. It would definitely be thinking outside of the box. Microwave
I think GTAIV would have been cool with that feature playing as Niko, Luis, and Johnny at different parts in the game. Like Niko and Johnny share the first half and switch off every couple of missions until the robbery then Luis is added on to the rotation.
kid23455
One of the few not-awful ideas I've heard around here recently. It makes sense, but I'm afraid they'd completely f*ck over any likability any of the characters might try to develop. But then again, I'm not Rockstar, maybe they hired better writers this time. theworldfamous
you've been playing Driver. I like this idea, just don't think it would work for GTA, but another game.
