Sleeping Dogs lands tomorrow and it's gonna be a beast. I couldn't even care less about GTA right now. In October, I've got Need for Speed and Assassin's Creed. In February, I've got Bioshock, and in March I've got Tomb Raider and God of War. Rockstar can take their overhyped piece of sh*t game and shove it up their pretentious ass at this point; I'll have more than enough awesome games to play.

 

Yeah, I'll buy GTA when it comes out. But I'm done giving a sh*t about it at this point.

In my opinion, I think many are overestimating GTA V, sure to be an excellent game with plenty to do and discover, but we do not have to wait too much of it, because if not we thought, begin to say it was a total failure , the reason for waiting so long, etc etc ... GTA V will be an excellent game, but I say do not expect too much as many do.

meh my expectations are way to high for GTAV , and i know it won't deliver 4 years of "waiting" .

by the end of a day GTA V will be buchered because of xbox360 , PC players will have a buggy port , lack of SA04 will drive people off GTAV pretty fast .

I dont check those forums that often as I did months ago so, its fading away. But I think they dont care about this at the moment. Since theres plenty of time.

Well I have come to terms with the fact that GTA V will likely not be out this year but what I still can't wrap my head around is how Rockstar is going to make a larger percentage of profits than Take-Two's other subsidiary 2k. How is Max Payne 3 plus it's DLCs going to beat the combined sales of Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite, X-com, and that sports game that 2k is releasing. It just doesn't seem possible,

I could fool myself and say that because they're taking so long and handling the delays so poorly that I won't buy the game. But I know I will.

 

For T2 to sell the kind of copies they want to sell, however, they need to sell to a wide audience, not just GTA fanboys like me. The more we get innovative and different open world games, the less of an audience GTA V will have. From a business perspective, they really can't afford to wait much longer. They think that everyone will rush out and get the game no matter how long they wait and no matter how poorly they treat their fans. But ultimately the only guaranteed sales are from fanboys like me and you. There aren't 10 million if us.
