gta v fanatic Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) I know there are tons of topics about this, but posting comments in those topics cant make people understand a valid point. I am a huge fan of rockstar and all the games they make. I grew up playing Grand Theft Auto. I played GTA on my XBOX and Playstation 1. I sit here checking the websites latest news hoping something new will pop up. I log off very disappointed because nothing is found. It has been almost a year since the first trailer debut and so far we only have a trailer and two screen shots to use as info to figure when this game will be released. I don't ever complain about games but for some reason i find this game making me go insane, the trailer is great but lacks information, i understand why it lacks info due to spoiling the game for us. I would love to see more information out, a second trailer is what everyone here has been waiting for. I think almost a year from the 1st, a 2nd trailer should be released soon (Im hoping in the next couple of weeks). Im still hoping for a 2012 release but an early 2013 is great too. Im checking daily for more news and hoping i see a trailer with a release date of 2012 because me and along with tons of other people believe that you can create a great game and release it under a year. Near black friday and christmas time seems to be a good time to sell because the shopping for christmas, which makes me a believer in 2012. If it were not for knowing the game is almost here, then i would be very disappointed in R* and choose to leave the forums and the game because the lack of info is killing me. I can vouch for millions of GTA and R* fans here and hope that this topic will be seen by you guys at R* and convince a new release of information. I hope that you guys see this and i can have a response from you guys. Thank you for the fantastic games you have made and the satisfaction i have gotten out of your games. Andreas Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 Yeah, Dan Houser pointed in an interview out that Rockstar don't want to reveal too much about the game to keep the surprise and make the hype bigger if we play the game the first time. A short marketing campaign as very possible in my opinion. I think we won't see more than a second trailer, a few screenshots and maybe other stuff. This and advertising on TV and big houses is enough to let even casual gamer know that something big is coming. At this rate, unless we get a sh*tload or screens and or a trailer with a release date, I'm not going to be excited with what they throw at us longer than 2 days. When the screens came out, I was excited, but after 8 hours I was already wanting more screens. By day 3, it was boring again. If we would've gotten news when we should have, things they throw at us would be more interesting. But that's not the case. The screens are almost worthless, and the stupid epsilon twitter is nothing interesting imho. I will get the game, but it haves to be really nice. Yeah I know it would be the same sh*t hole it is now due to the silence. But for me personally, the wait would be like nothing. If R* gave me a release date tomorrow, I'd be all good up until release with nothing else from them. It's the not-knowing when it's coming that I hate. I think the wait between the logo announcement with IV and the actual first info was like 10 months. I got thru it all good. No frustration whatsoever. If all goes well and it's a decent game (which I hear it is and from what I see) then I enter "idc" mode in relation to GTA V having no info yet. In fact, I'm already there. I almost forgot about those games, you are correct man, though I do have about 12 games pre ordered from September to February so you're right... I shouldn't care anymore whether or not they talk about GTA V at this point, I waited too long. Then you will know what it feels like to be inside of her as she moans like a wounded wilderbeast. That is like the wait for GTA V. It's not too long.
