Waiting lines are f*cking horrendously long (2,5 hour wait to get 5 minutes of trailer mashups that were released ages ago and so called "Gamescom Exclusives", bullsh*t from a German EA douche who knows jack about the game he's supposed to promote and only less than 3 minutes of gameplay/handson time). That's ofcourse concerning Warfighter... Won a T-Shirt from Warfighter with a friend of mine for being the best fireteam though so that made up for something atleast. And to say the least about Warfighter: it's a really good and well built MP FPS, I can already say that. Good alternative for BF3 (if you don't feel like all out vehicular warfare or something). Dishonored also short hands on with it. Only playable with a controller which sucked balls. Games like that should be played with keyboard and mouse in my honest opinion. Just a couple of small time indie games that could be played and boothbabes (though really nice looking ones I must say) giving out free game coupons for steam (you could get any game from the indie game list they had on there... MosquitoSmasher Posted August 21, 2012 Share Posted August 21, 2012 I was at Gamescom last week from monday till saturday, saw lots of games behind closed doors, played lots of games and i'm excited about several ones. I am a huge Hitman fan and i was very afraid they were going to ruin Absolution with that Instincts mode. As soon as i started playing i disabled all that sh*t and i'm happy to say that it still feels 100% Hitman when i did so. It plays and looks awesome on Xbox 360 and 47 is a bad-ass in this one, his cold and even angry look is just nuts! So many different ways to kill your targets and do things, so many little details...in that aspect it's almost a Rockstar game. No more doubts about Absolution, MUST buy for me. There was a guy dressed as 47 there, he was there to promote the game and he had this briefcase with him. I asked him what was in it..turned out to be the best goodie from GC The game i was most impressed with was Star Wars 1313, only available to see for press at Activision in the businesscenter. It was a gameplay demonstration and they said it was 100% realtime...i couldn't believe my eyes. If that's what next gen consoles are going to do....i can die happily..or well...i'd rather not,lol. My top 5 1- Star Wars 1313 2- Hitman Absolution 3- Tomb Raider (played it..it's awesome...really happy with this new direction) 4- Far Cry 3 5- Assassin's Creed III: Liberation Sadly as expect, no GTA V at Take Two but still some goddamn awesome stuff. Same here, doesn't fit Hitman at all in my opinion and I barely played the games (which is also a shame really but there's so much to play and so little time!).
