He doesn't speak, he kills people without mercy, shows no remorse, has a cool design and is not too old so that the players can identify with him. Also, the other protagonists seem kind of dumb, maybe except Tommy and Niko. I probably would have picked Niko if I had actually played IV. Shallow characteristics aside, explain to me please how can you identify with a person who's so sick and cold-blooded and he kills people without any emotions whatsoever? When you play as a character with personality that RPG freedom is gone because you'd think, hmm would he do that or would he do that. When you identify with a character, you find similarities between them and you, you find yourself in the character. I don't think any of us can connect and find themselves in Claude. Anyways, I liked Claude a lot as he was a bad ass like Johnny. Tommy was a little unsatisfied about killing Diaz. He knew that he wasn't the whole cause of that attack. It would have been a great if Sonny would have died first and then, Lance or Diaz. Then, GTA VC would have become a great story. Claude actually hesitated to kill Catalina once, so that goes to show that he still cared about her so he pretty much spared her that time. Tommy wasn't less morally dead. He just expressed his opinions more but still didn't hesitate to kill and he cared about money, whereas Claude only cared about revenge and money. GTA fan from the United Kingdom Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Niko Bellic, he simply had all the qualities you were looking for as a protagonist and a hired gun. His sarcasm made me PMSL and he had a lot of depth and showed the most emotionout of all the protags IMO. Grand Theft Auto Vice City had the best feel, story, characters, theme, location, soundtrack and of course Ray Liotta did an awesome job. Have so many great memories with Vice City....
