It'd probably be ok if you could only obtain from a small number of spots around V like the pool cue in SA. Tasers and pepper spray would be awesome. Dont forget, VC had pepper spray in it...or was it tear gas....i cant remember...that was a long time ago... I'd just like the ability to use any object as a weapon that you can find. Like.... I'd like to see hardware return, screwdrivers, hammers, sledgehammers, saws/chainsaws etc. Lot's of melee weapons are cool. I'd also like for GTA to pick up on the Saint's Row ability of using the environment as weapons, like picking up a trashbin or mailbox, rusty pipes, wooden planks, bricks etc. I know bricks could be used in IV, but they did practically no damage, I think getting a brick tossed in your head would probably knock you unconscious. As long as they don't make the animations for picking stuff up as cartoony as SR, you shouldn't be able to throw a heavy object 100 feet like it's nothing. I'd also like some ancient weaponry, like muskets, revolvers and flintlock pistols, just as some fun stuff to add replay value and life span of the game. Throwing knives or improvised weapons such as picking up chairs, barstools, smaller televisions, bottles would be amazing. Imagine starting a barfight and NPCs throwing around random furniture, figting with pool cues and then calling the cops on them and watch the scene develop. Bit less creative side, but: Silenced weapons would be fun to do. Actually making a whole playthrough with being stealthy and unnoticed at all times. Anyway, tazers would be awesome. @Stopped , it isn't because it's a crime simulator that you aren't allowed to have fun weapons... As long as they aren't used in missions or the main story, I'm fine with it. If they would make them only available with cheat codes or after the main game is completed as a reward, it would give us something to do after the campaign. No shizzle like plasma guns and railgun, but a flamethrower and tazer are common weapons in games.
