faizanali
Today i was re-watching the E3 Demo of Dishonored, after watching some of it's Gameplay i thought that it could be the funniest game from having to teleporting from place to place and some features we are not able to get in modern games, but late in the video i saw something very unusual and totally distracting, This. didnt see it there? well the rats have no shadows, now from what ive seen in MP3 is that the game is beautiful and the shadows too but i just wanted R* to know we don't want crappy graphics now what i wan't in the new version of RAGE (the one planned to be used for GTA V) is Global Illumination i will explain in the pics below This is something that almost no engines have, Do you notice how in real life, things blocking light do not leave the area behind it completely black? That is because light scatters and bounces off of things. That's why when you have a red room things appear more red. This is an in-game Screen Shot from CryEngine 3 and now with Global Illumination on. This is also in UE4, Frostbite 2 and Source Engine(?). Would you play the game with Dishonored graphics or with High-Tech Nex-Gen graphics. Tell your thoughts, Thanks. Pleasure_Pier
It's not the place to put other game screenshots.
Kifflom112
As long as the graphics are better than IV(even by a little bit) I'll have nothing to be disappointed about.
kudoboi
so you created this thread to tell R* you do not want crappy graphics and global illumination as if they do not know what it is?
wwinterj
Graphics don't make a good game. You'll do good to remember that.
faizanali
so you created this thread to tell R* you do not want crappy graphics and global illumination as if they do not know what it is? R* is pretty much familiar with Games and Graphics than any of us in the forums i just wanted them to add this little thing to RAGE
kietotheworld
There's a balance to be struck between beautiful graphics, load time and slowdown. I'd rather play a game with GTA IV's graphics than have to wait 2 or 3 minutes for the game to load every time I want to play it and experience garbage frame rates whenever there are multiple events occurring on screen. D.Dodge
GTA IV already has it.

Technodiq
You created a thread to ask for more realistic shadowing? ...does it really take you out of the game if you notice a lack-luster shadow?
goh13
GTA IV graphics were fine, do not get too picky. Although I would love if this is added to GTA V, the more the better
1whitebuddah
graphics aren't important, its the gameplay that counts imo
