asitsaysinthebook
I don't think they could keep GTA V off for that long. There's already a huge demand on this game coming out.
theworldfamous
I hope Agent comes to ps4 that way I don't have to buy a ps3 to play it... I would though. 70's? cold war? espionage? assasination? open world? next gen graphics? stealth? r* north? If there's anything that might topple GTA as my best game ever.. it's this. BullworthAcademy
Gtaghost22: How do you want to know that Agent is a PS4 exclusive and not cancelled? http://www.thegameraccess.com/videos/ps3/p...e-ps4-exclusive Everything is hinting at it being a next-gen title, and jack tretton pretty much confirmed it's still a sony exclusive when he was asked. We all know the game is still in development as Rockstar Games has recently confirmed When the f*ck did they say that?
Andreas
We all know the game is still in development as Rockstar Games has recently confirmedWhen the f*ck did they say that? Maybe it's in development like Eight Days. Eight Days was officially announced on E3 2006 with a trailer by Sony: And then it was cancelled on June 4th 2008. I would have liked the game. LotusRIP
Agent has no fanbase, and means nothing more than a name to us. The GTA franchise already exists, and has such a huge fanbase already, so they wouldn't just announce it briefly and let it rest of a few years... so no, it won't be like that at all. AtomicPunk
What if Jesus comes before GTA V? Then he's just gunna have to wait 'til we get done with V. He can join us if he likes, as long as he doesn't try to bogart the bong. Jesus is probably the only one who can make Agent happen.
Gtaghost22
We all know the game is still in development as Rockstar Games has recently confirmedWhen the f*ck did they say that? Maybe it's in development like Eight Days. Eight Days was officially announced on E3 2006 with a trailer by Sony: And then it was cancelled on June 4th 2008. I would have liked the game. Eight Days wasn't cancelled. Development was just put on-hold which means it's not in development right now but they will continue it later. http://gematsu.com/2009/10/sce-london-eigh...nly-put-on-hold In a new interview with GameKult, the French sister-site of GameSpot, Sony Computer Entertainment Studios London reveals that Eight Days and The Getaway for PlayStation 3 were not cancelled, but “put to one side.”According to Sony London’s Nicolas Doucet, both games were “just over halfway [complete]“. He says that both games “are still there” and as for the game’s futures, they “aren’t dead yet.” Sony London also has another game in development that we don’t yet know of, Doucet told the site. The full segment about Eight Days and The Getaway 3 can be read below. GK: Before EyePet, the teams at Sony London were working on two projects that have since fallen by the wayside: Eight Days and The Getaway 3. Can you confirm that both of these have indeed been abandoned? ND: I would not say they have been abandoned, just put to one side. Much work had been done. The studio just wanted to focus on its strengths, EyeToy and SingStar. Given the potential of EyePet, priorities have been changed, but the other projects aren’t dead yet. Ultimately, the decision [to put those games to one side]has benefited everyone. GK: How far through production were they? ND: It depends. I think they were just over halfway through. They had a plan, everything was ready… GK: How have you dealt internally with these strategic decisions from Sony? ND: Many recruits to the EyePet team came from theseprojects, and contrary to popular belief, they are rather popular. First, becauseit was a much smaller team, they were able to integrate differently, but also with a different challenge. Most importantly, The Getaway and Eight Days are still there. So, no, there haven’t really been any regrets. This decision was welcome. And then everyone likes change, as is the cultureof this community. There were no bad feelings. GK: I guess you have anothergame currently under development… ND: (Smiling) Yes. GK: Is it linked to EyePet or is it unrelated to this franchise? ND: No, it’s a different concept, in addition to EyePet. GK: So will you continue to be Sony’s brand ambassador for social and casual gaming? ND: While the whole studio won’t, our group will, I think. There is a lot of interest around augmented reality. It surprised me to come to the Festival du Jeu Video (a gaming show held Paris in September) and see the number of magazines that want to do an article on this subject, as I thought it was too geeky. It is now very much part of the casual gaming space. Edited August 13, 2012 by Gtaghost22

Triple Vacuum Seal
Since this game had been announced by Sony on E32007 I'm very excited that we will see a new game by R* North. And it's also the reason why bought a PS3. But since then I never heard any news about this game. All we have was a leaked screenshot. Yeah I think I'm being pessimistic. R* North being the lead developer on something kind of does smell like a hit. Is it open world? If so, then it's an instant buy. Besides, I've been waiting for an excuse to buy a new PS3 now that consoles are reasonably priced. "shut up, sit down, relax"
