TheJkWhoSaysNi
When I alt-tab out of GTA3 (steam version) my sound disappears and I can never get it back until I restart the game. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Â I'm on Windows 7 and my sound card is an onboard AC'97 5.1 Â Going back into sound settings and trying to change them doesn't help, I thought that might trigger the sound to re-initialise but it doesn't. Â Â Any ideas?
DEALUX
What happens if you use the Windows key or Ctrl+Esc??
TheJkWhoSaysNi
The same thing I've also tried compatibility mode, it makes no difference.
Andreaz1
I have the same issue, I've realized that it is the GTA III FOV Hack that is causing it for me.
TheJkWhoSaysNi
Aha! Yes, you're right! At least that helps narrow it down. Both the fovhack executable and the widescreen CLEO script cause it. Hmm.. I wonder if it's a matter of adding something to the CLEO script to make it restart the sound?
