If they brought those back in V, it will be pathetic. Rockstar got it right for the time. What NYPD was driving when GTA IV was made: What's in GTA IV: Im sorry but the vehicle models in IV sucked Which means the ones in real life sucked as well? No, I think he means that the cars they used for the LCPD sucked, because they did. I don't understand what this guy is trying to say. The police cars in IV looked almost exactly like the cars used by the NYPD in 2008 but with a little bit of a fictional twist because you couldn't make them look exactly like they do in real life but they are close enough. The Cruiser one really annoyed me, as if using a Crown Victoria was bad enough, why did it have to be one from the 90's? It was okay for the taxi's but the police cars should be a newer Merit and a Buffalo or something newer and faster. Pretty much what I was about to say. Other than the decals, the resemblance is only great to those who don't notice the detail in law enforcement vehicles (sadly the majority of the fan base). The Crown Vic. is a bit less skinny/heavier and the rear of the car (hidden in the above) is where they really messed up. The horizontal taillights scream 1990s too. If the headlights curved down instead of up, it would make a real difference. Also, how was the police cruiser not faster than taxi of the same model? It may seem petty to most, but these small cosmetic changes make all of the difference. R* could've gotten a lot closer to the real thing without violating any licensing policies. Like the Sentinel 4 door saloon/sedan, PCJ 500 etc Well, the Oracle supposedly took the place of the old Sentinel as the Sentinel turned into a sports coupe. I still don't consider the Oracle a "real" Sentinel. It's nice, but it ain't sporty and isn't that fun to drive.
