gtamann123
It wouldnt make sense to have all new cars. Since its only a few years after IV so most of the cars on the road are the same anyways.
Triple Vacuum Seal
I took the gesture of re-using cars in GTAV (a game in development for well over 4 years) as a sign that there will be far more cars this time around all together since they already have some done. The MP3 vehicle files strengthen this case. "shut up, sit down, relax"
Johan
Doesn't have to be 100% new cars, I'll be happy with at least 40%
NudasPriest
Id love to see the return of all the San Andreas-only vehicles eg. Monster, Vortex, Alpha etc. I want the Kuruma back! karuma was only in 1 game, right? GTA III? The first car you can get? It would be cool to see it return even if it'd really just be the name. amweaver47
They could simply update the wheels, taillights, hood, and front bumper on most GTA IV cars to make them the "4 year newer version". I think about 50/50 brand new cars and GTA IV updated cars would be a fair compromise.

mvega0422
I love GTA's vehicles... I've had GTA 4 since the day it came out and only a month or two ago I discovered a car I had never heard of before. I wish they would put a lot of effort into having a huge variety of cars and a powerful appearance/performance modification system. Keep most of the cars from GTA 4, add in more, make different years and models of however much you can, bring back old classics. Make it so you can upgrade the performance, appearance, and utility of your vehicles. Have some awesome garages available to put all of this in. loki18760
I think that Rockstar usually does a great job at there cars transferring over. Of course the premier cars are going to get an overhaul, sports cars always do in GTA, but i would expect some of the everyday traffic cars to come from gta 4, and it dlc. I Liked the old and rusty cars from gta4 i think it added to a feel and i think that more of them should be implemented in Gta 5 in bad neighborhoods, maybe see some of the cars from Gta 4 aged with rust spot on there paint. I would like to see vehicle that look like they have already been through a firefight. I think a spreading vehicle list is awesome and i think that models from Gta 4 and dlc both should be in Gta5. I hope they fix the vehicle pools though so you could see more random cars in some areas instead on 1000 taxis to a sports car

Triple Vacuum Seal
well, some cars are great to be re-used but the one thing i don't want it to be re-used is the police cars, in GTA IV they were ugly. This too. Police cars in IV were ridiculous. 1990s-based police cars in a game based in 2008. If they brought those back in V, it will be pathetic. *I feel like I was the only one let down by the cars in the GTAIV era as a whole. Many of them were very ugly (even the Infernus IMO). R* also tended to think that body kits=nicer car (maybe to a 12 year old or a rapper ). Two Examples... - Huntley Sport (body kits ruined it especially in the front) - TBOGT Schafter (ruined by body kits) ...something like this would've been way better "shut up, sit down, relax"

Deffpony
The cars in IV didnt feel like real cars at all. I dont know it it was the textures or modeling or what. But It always felt like I was driving a fake car. Some of the real car packs for the PC are awesome and I wish that V would have more realistic feel to the cars but its looking like copy and paste with some additions honestly

MRPG500
All cars skins, sounds, physics, must be changed, in the trailer we saw many cars from GTA IV but it was only a pre alpha software so the final version will have new skins, just like the helicopter pic, it´s a new skin from the Maveric we saw in the trailer. I also loved the Rancher in SA for some reason.

Two Examples... - Huntley Sport (body kits ruined it especially in the front) - TBOGT Schafter (ruined by body kits) ...something like this would've been way better OT: I don't know if it's just me but a lot of cars in IV looked kind of stupid. Cars in GTA are supposed to resemble real life cars greatly, but some of them were just flat out ugly to where I was like "Why would R* want this car in the game?" Cars I don't want to return from IV or should be seriously updated: Chavos(just butt-ugly, Comet(disappointing, I loved it in SA and VC, why'd it get so dumb looking), Infernus, Turismo, Super GT(I did not like the unrealistic look of exotics in IV), Sultan and Sultan RS(I hate the new Sultan, why would they change it from a nice Subaru to some cheap ass old Lexus IS), Buccanneer(loved it in SA, but in IV it got weird looking), Dukes(probably gonna' hate me, but it looked dumb IMO), Virgo(unless they make that car more exciting, it needs to go away). Blista Compact(too compact, and not as attractive as it was in SA), Hakumai(get rid of that ugly box), Intruder(needs to look more like an Infiniti in the back too, the long ugly boxy rear on such a curvy car was hideous), Contender(felt too fake, looked so too), Rebla(needs to be more realistic). That's just my opinion. Most of those I would like updated, but some need to go. Also, IV had less civilian vehicles than SA, don't know why, but we need more cars, the variety in IV got boring after a while, especially if a lot of cars looked so fake. Some cars in IV were really nice and realistic looking. The IV cars I saw in the trailer were the ones I really had no problem with. All of the new cars in V look really nice IMO, including he ones that were evidently brought back from SA and VC. Will we all quit with the "The screens are older than the trailer" crap and just stop fooling our selves? The screens are not old, the trailer's graphics are evidently are enhanced, yet made up of real ingame footage. I can be wrong(and then I'll deserve the disagreements I may get) but why would the screens be old? I don't think the screens look bad anyways, haha. The truth hurts. Peoples expectations are too high and they are finding excuses to justify them. The screen shots we current. Why would Rockstar wait 8 months to release non optimal screen shots. eagle016
As has been said, a mix of old as well as new. I want more trucks and commercial vehicles. Some campers and semi trucks. Also more sports cars, ranging from old models to new. I've noticed GTA usually has one sports car per brand (Corvette, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Porsche) but they need to add variations, especially since there are so many different ones seen regularly in the LA area. The Cruiser one really annoyed me, as if using a Crown Victoria was bad enough, why did it have to be one from the 90's? It was okay for the taxi's but the police cars should be a newer Merit and a Buffalo or something newer and faster.
