BMW car mod invisible

hi fellas

 

well, i downloaded a BMW 740I mod for gta iv installed instead of admiral and tried to play the mod it works with only one problem and the problem is i can't see the car's model from any short distance all i can see is it's tires but when i get very close ( till i reach the doors ) then i can see the whole car

 

 

any help here please?

Likely an issue with the model itself. The game needs LODs to render vehicles at a distance. The closer you get the more detailed the model becomes. I'm guessing something is missing within the file structure of the model you downloaded.

 

I could be wrong of course, but that's the best shot in the dark I have for you at the moment.

for me it sounds like the author made an LOD1 model of the wheels only, and left out the LOD1 model for the rest. therefore, the game only shows the wheels when the LOD1 appears.

i think maybe the problem comes from your specs . pretty hard to believe the mod author would have release his mod without having tested it before . did you read the readme entirely . does the mod need another vehshare . give a link to the mod

well, u should rather research abit b4 posting something like that. it has NOTHING to do with specs, it's due to the author only added L1 wheels, simple as that
