If anything the XBOX would be what would keep this from happening with alot of xboxs not having large hard drives you know that blu-ray discs can hold more than 100GBs right? so yeah it will never happen, its going to weigh about 80Gb LA NOIRE whas about 50 or 60 GB. Metal gear solid 4 whas the hugest game to date. it whas about 50GB. but no worries xbox users because microsoft its making deals with SONY so XBOX720 its going to have blu-ray. irony much? wahahhahahah Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chriss0906 Posted August 12, 2012 Share Posted August 12, 2012 If this were to be a reality, some people would be enraged. A few months ago I had a max speed of around 200-300 kbps internet. I upgraded to a much faster max of 12 mbps a month ago and now can download large games easily. Unfortunately, not all of us have the privilege of having fast download speeds to download a large game and that can possibly hinder sales for this game, because most people would stray away from it since it would take them 2 days or something like that to download it. I remember RDR with the Undead Nightmare Pack taking me 2 days, and man it wasn't a fun time lol. I don't see this happening though. and i just have 2mbps imagine THAT! As for L.A noires size, an xbox 360 disc has about 7.8 GB of space available for the game (something like that anyway) and l.a noire fit onto 3 discs, you do the math. And there's no chance GTA V would lead the pack on downloadable games, publishers would first experiment with smaller games before releasing AAA games as downloads only.
