Basically, you don't need GTA IV to play the Episodes. You get the same map (with some slight differences) but with new missions, vehicles, minigames and music. SARDYNA108
Episodes From Liberty City contains 2 separated games - The Lost and Damned & The Ballad of Gay Tony, each has new protagonist, weapons, cars, locations, storylines, side missions etc. Both games are in the same place and time as GTA IV, you can meet EFLC characters in IV and IV characters in EFLC. In IV you can even kill TBoGT protagonist and succesfully complete the mission but if you try to do the same with other protagonists in other missions it will fail the mission. Idk how it works on X360 but on PC if you got versions downloaded from GFWL you dont need a disc, if you got the disc version you need to put it in Edited August 12, 2012 by SARDYNA108
