chevelle1972
Should they bring towing cars back? Like in SA? What about putting cars on trailers and towing them, or putting cars on ramp trucks and transporting them? I know i tried that a lot in SA but they just fell off and that was frustrating. What about being able to car surf? or possible surf on air planes or other vehicles like that? Just like Just Cause 2 except maybe with the grapple thing, They sure look like they are having a lot of fun with these features! What do you guys think? I would love to be able to tow again, even being able to drive semi trucks with trailers was fun in SA, the other day i took one to the top of mount chilliad
Kifflom112
Towing: yes. Standing on cars: no, imho it's just incredibly stupid and unrealistic(go ahead and flame me), it's fun in the III era, but not now. Most people on avenues and highways go 50mph and above, so you couldn't stand on a car then. Maybe 20mph and below. Hanging onto cars: Now that's what I would want. Johan
Yeah as much as I'd want to see it come back, I don't think it would fit into the new Rockstar way (which is realism)

_Rob_
Is standing on a car roof really that unrealistic, I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be possible. People have been known to go over 30 miles per hour on a skateboard, so with a car roof with a bigger surface area and a softer ride it seems perfectly feasible to me. chevelle1972
perhaps just set a speed limit? so once the car passes that barrier the character starts sliding back to tell the person standing he is about to fall off? or like what has been mentioned, skitching a ride or hanging on. maybe hand on the moon roof if there is one or something like that
blow-job
The people here who say they want a more 'realistic GTA' seem intent that any stupid or foolish actions should not be possible in GTA V. I say that's not realistic at all. All the things that have been mentioned as being 'unrealistic' on these forums over the years, you can pretty much find that (with varying degrees of success,) people have done all of them in real life. I want realism, I want to be able to stand on cars while they're moving, and with enough practice manage to stay on!

el_roy1985
Towing with a tow truck would he awesome. As well as maybe having a car trailer you could fill with stolen cars. Holding onto a car for speed while you are riding a bicycle wouls be awesome too. Just like bicycles messengers in the cities.

Microwave
I loved hitching rides of people in San Andreas. And then shoot your gun and watch them freak out and drive into a wall. It was hilarious.
meson1
One thing I don't like is when there is something featured in just one mission that you can't use generally. From GTA:IV, one such mission is "Truck Hustle" in which you are required to cling onto the top of a vehicle, but why were we not allowed to do this generally? This applies to other things as well such as the stun punch you could use in "Clean Getaway", but no time else. If your character is given an ability, it should always be available generally, not as a one off.
I Shot The Sheriff
Every little feature they include, it's awesome to me. Little features are what make a great game.

When I began reading this I thought nope, absolutely not my opinion, but then I read your last sentence and that s what I want, too. Hanging on cars and trucks like in this one mission in IV is realistic and should be enabled always, not only in missions. Even on trains - on every vehicle. But hopefully this feature will be in the game, because there were these people sitting on the back of the truck in the scene under the bridge.
