Now for any one who think its coming in Jan-Feb-March-April-May 2013 is just stupid to think that, WHY??? Because Take-Two have Bioshock in Feb 2013 so Jan, March,April,May are out of the speculation. Any way April and May are after the fiscal year 2013 ends so duh, i mean Take-Two wants 1.85 bill and Rockstar said , the Game "Focuses on the Almighty dollar" 1.85 bill= Almighty dollar , and with the delaying of bioshock to 2013 and some other companies did delay their games like Sega (i dont remember the game name) , for me thats why Take-Two delayed Bioshock: Because they will release GTA V between October-December ,which means Holiday season more money , they will release it in October so it can sell from October- Jan with the highest sells so it kicks out other games and then bioshock will come to continue the sales to make even more than 1.85 bill. Come on, I understand that you really want GTA V in October, but at this point, it just seems like Rockstar isn't going to go for such an early launch. And please don't give me the "Rockstar wants to surprise us though!!!" crap. They may want us to be surprised, but they don't want the game to sell poorly early on because they didn't give it a marketing campaign.. Just hope for a January or March release like the rest of us. There's a lot of speculation in numerous threads that cover the 2012 release theories. The reason why some bashed you was because you stated your opinion as if it were fact. Everyone on this forum has been wrong from time to time and at the moment no one really knows for sure beside R*. Its your first post so no harm done. Looking at Take2's profit estimates and release lineup, it seems as though either November or March have the highest chances. But that is besides the point. This time next year we will have all been playing the game for months -- some of us will love it, some of us will be bored with it, some of us will hate it -- do you understand what I am saying? In the grand scheme of things the difference between a game releasing in 2012 and 2013 is so small; the same difference between GTA IV releasing in October 2007 or April 2008, looking back now that delay felt like such an insignificant amount of time. I'm not trying to be one of those people who tells everyone else to get a life because let's face it those people are a drag. These forums are great for speculation. Fall 2012: - Borderlands 2 (third most pre-ordered title EVER for T2, behind only GTAIV & GTASA) - NBA 2K13 - XCOM: Enemy Unknown (highly anticipated, big fan base/good pre-order numbers) - Nickelodeon Dance 2 (lol) - Bubble Guppies (MUST HAVE!) - Dora & Team Umizoomi's Fantastic Flight (can't live without) First three months of 2013: - BioShock Infinite I bet this is a shocking revelation, isn't it! Maybe as shocking as the fact that T2 released their two biggest titles from the respective labels last year (L.A. Noire and Duke Nukem) in the same 30 day period. How did you even come up with this? First of all, the "Focuses on the Almighty dollar" saying was long before the recent T2 conference, and when MP3 was scheduled to a March '12 release. Second, no they will likely not release V this year, besides the fact that it's not even logical, Black Ops 2 and Halo 4 are scheduled to a November release. More money? definitely not. The only reason why it could hurt the sales is because not everybody can buy 2, 3, 4 or even more games at the same time per month. But I think it doesn't matter if GTA V would be released this year because the people who would find the game interesting would it buy immediately or if the don't have enough money then in early 2013. The worst move would be a Janaury 2013 release. January is the month with the worst sales in the whole year. Anyway the highest sales are in the fall. Most interesting is the revelation that Forum user bud23 - who claims to be a freelance writer for what seems like a number of European magazines - has been speaking to people that might have seen GTA 5. i'm not against bud, but i hardly think you can use a forum post to back up your prediction.
