I think it's not by rockstar, because it doesn't make sense to create that account, which doesn't post related stuff to that epsilonism thing. Then it's creation date - 03/08, so today biggrin.gif

And the fact, that it posts it's tweets via Twitter for Android - noooo way this is a rockstar account! biggrin.gif

 

So nobody should take that account for their damn theories!

Atleast tell us who it is!

I don't know about you guys, but when a Rockstar employee links to a article on Eurogamer that is about GTA V Viral marketing, and he also names it GTA V viral marketing on the tweet...do you really need any kind of confirmation?

 

I agree with someone here that said that this viral marketing is cool, but it's a bit too late. But i still do enjoy it. But they could have been doing this stuff months ago too,unless....this is a leadup to a big update and a release soon, but thats very doubtful.

I agree, and why doubtful, they're attracting us hardcore fans with some "bait" so we start discussing and cracking their Epsilon riddles and whatnot, and they interact with us with Rockstar's own devs, so when they post news, they will attract us hardcore fans and the other non-casual gamers.

 

Still looking forward for a dev's tweet.

It could play a part in the story or Rockstar might have chosen Epsilon because of the sheer amount of people that tried to hunt myths in SA and they expect us to do the same in V. Remember, countrysides and whatnot.

I would nearly put a bet on that what CJBB said about a 2 month gap between MP3 release and the start of the GTA marketing campaign, it would have started in July, but sine MP got delayed its starting now.

Indeed I believe some info will come after this or during this, August 10 looks realistic. On the 9th R* launches their free MP3 DLC.

As I said, during or after this thing, could be tomorrow, could be August 10. Just said it seems realistic because it's the day after MP3 DLC 1 release.

R* like Friday. And Thursday. They usually post big, important stuff on the newswire on Friday or Thursday. IIRC it was Wednesday for LA Noire and RDR, but they changed it for MP3. It always happens at 12 Noon EST as well. Because nothing was posted today, then next Friday is the next best date for real info.
