Yep they did say that. But some people here think thats bullsh*t. I remember R* said RDR's map will be bigger than San Andreas and that was correct. I believe the map will be huge.

It better be, because from the trailers and screenshots I don't get the feeling of super huge map

 

Just Cause 2 - now THAT's what I call huge map for a sandbox game biggrin.gif

Just Cause 2's map was too big IMO, it lacked detailed and reused to many buildings.

I don't expect GTA map to ever be that huge (JC was 400 square miles)

 

But 50-70 square miles of detailed GTA map would still be awesome, however I don't think GTA V map will be bigger than 50 square miles

Um.. I understand you are being hopeful and optimistic but dont hold your breath.

For some reason September 17 seems weird to me.

I do agree with Raavi on this one. September the 17 just seems to random for me, like Rockstar knew that wasnt going to be the release date anyway and was just a placeholder for us to see.

I was thinking the same thing, the date is just so.. Random.

So I think we should think in the simplest of ways. A "recruitment drive"... is probably what it says it is.

Last year with the t-shirts wasn't too interesting. But this latest message comes after they've shown a small bit of ingame-footage and it's in a week where there will be a sh*tload of GTA V coverage. But i will stay calm and not get excited at all, we'll see smile.gif A damn good week is coming up for GTA V fans though, that's for damn sure. icon14.gif
