So much unnecessary R* bashing yet so much dick riding as well within the fan base.  For the record...

 

R* isn't some massive family of close knit like-minded saints.  It's a company like any other company.  Not only that, many of the employees have worked years for their firms until they were bought out by R* and conglomerated under one name.  Many in the organization don't even know each other.  People should keep this in mind when they try to attack/defend R* as if it's one unit.

 

 

 

My Stance: Love/Hate relationship

 

People pulling the strings in R*'s marketing department...f*ck 'em

Pretty much saying that just because someone bashes R* doesn't make them spoiled pricks since there are several groups of people within R*'s corporate structure.

 

 

*It actually disproves your claim/ramble "they want us to get the info more than WE WANT to get it" (<--your own words), but they are busy making the game. The developers have very little to do with what we have access to on Newswire. That's all apart of the marketing team at R*. Do you seriously think that all of the devs at North are responsible for the entire project? Sorry, not how things work.

While Vice City is my personal favorite, the consensus GOAT would likely go to SA because it was flooded with features.

 

I predict that V will be mind blowing because the fan base is even more hungry for features now with V than they were leading up to SA. Even a rehashed SA with RAGE and Euphoria sounds like a masterpiece. So idea that V's experience will even surpass that is mind blowing.

Yea i guess youre rite, vice city was the first video game I had ever played so it will always have a special place in my heart

You probably have that bang-on. Really doubt we'll see anything material until late fall, when R* may start f*cking with other holiday-time releases to make sure we keep at least some money in our wallets for spring 2013, when V comes out.

 

You know what is odd, though? I understand not wanting to release a trailer. Or even anything more about the protagonist. Or gameplay and story elements.

 

But why in god's name can they not release a screenshot? I mean, after all, reshot from an interesting angle, they could just take what was effectively in the trailer already and put it out. But they haven't.

 

I think this is a 2013 game earliest, and I wonder whether TTWO won't just bump it over to Q1 of 2014.
