All available locations of the Mini-gun (aka: Chaingun)

are marked correctly. on the map provided in THIS topic: http://snapmap.wikigta.org/index.php?map=SA&title=Mini-Gun+(Vulcan+Cannon)+Locations&set=719,81|718,275|297,260|192,307|405,141

We do Not put in locations for Modified Games, we are only interested in the Vanilla game pickups.

FREE pickups:

[sNAP-MAP here]

• West Kincaid Bridge pier (after last island is opened).

• In an underground carpark North/East of the Las Venturas Police Dept.

• On a scaffold in the South/East of Las Venturas.

• In Area 69 Laboratory during the 'Black Project' mission.

• In Toreno's Ranch (after 'Vertical Bird')

CJ's Safe house In Whetstone has NO spawn in it.

We have no control over other Web sites [myepsilon.com's Weapon Map] content.

You would do better contacting them.

Note: that, although high, the Garages do have a limit to the amount of repairs they can make.

I've never heard this before. Can someone confirm / cite the source for this info?

This is one of things that does not *Need* to be cited, et cetera.

If it is important to you, YOU do it.

And if you find it does not happen you are surely free to comment.

I've played hundreds and hundreds of hours of GTA3/VC/SA, multiple 100% runs both on PS2 and on PC, and I've never seen a garage "run out" of vehicle repairs. I also see no reference to this phenomenon mentioned in any wikis or FAQs. Therefore I have found this does not happen. Since I'm now "free to comment", I'll say that I believe the information provided at the top of this thread regarding garages having a "limited number" of repairs is misleading and/or incorrect. If there are any concrete references to this implication, I would like to see them to be better informed about the mechanics of the game.

I'm not exactly sure why asking for a reference for a highly unusual statement is so troubling to you. "YOU do it" is a weird response to "I think this is factually incorrect, can anyone confirm this?".

I see.

The Limited number of repairs in this context are when using the repair function of the guarages to upgrade the weapon skills.

Putting one or two vehicles in the garage and then proceeding to Shoot them repeatedly until they flame up.

Then allowing the door to close and repair the vehicle(s). Then continuing to shoot them until all the weapons have reached "Hitman" levels.

This procedure causes a garage to cease to repair the vehicle(s).

Since few Players know about it, it is rarely mentioned.

Normal auto repairs will not reach this limit.

Have fun trying it out.

Wow...I didn't know that. Luckily the only Garage I use for making some Weapons Hitman Level is Ganton and I don't store anything there once I unlock Las Venturas. I only use Ganton to make 1 or 2 Weapons Hitman Level, anyways...

Just started the GTA San Andreas for PS3, (woo hoo!)

and "zoom" for the sniper rifle on PS3 is:

L1 = Zoom IN

R1= Zoom OUT

while you are press + holding R2 to aim and bring up the scope view.

Just FYI, noticed lots of players think its the D-pad of left stick,

but it's not.

Great guide. I never even knew the flamethrower and tear gas existed in the game.

Something that I've never been able to find since. But I once found a heat seeking "bazooka" on the top of one the multi-story carparks in Las Venturas. I've searched for it a few times and discovered their are a lot more car parks in LV than I first thought.

Has anyone else ever found it and if so, do you know which car park it I

I don't know, but there is one at the SF airport between three gas containers at the north end. A snapshot is also located here.

Replying to a Six Year old post usually is not of much use.

However, the Los Ventures HEAT Missie launcher is on the upper deck of the Car Park directly East of the Verdant Meadows Aerodrome.
