Freakorama
Grand Theft Auto IV was a gigantic stinker. I only finished the story because I had paid money for it, so I may as well see it though. Go back to playing San Andreas. No, I went off to playing Saints Row 2, a far better game. loooooooooooooooooooooooooool Problem? I should clarify that I meant Saints Row 2 is a far better game than GTA IV. San Andreas was better than both of those games put together.

Finn 7 five 11
I don't understand why people keep saying that Max Payne 3 is a bad game. Maybe because it probably delayed GTA V?Maybe if it was a completely new game in a completely new franchise people would learn to like it. Yeah they f*cked that up a bit, i don't understand why it was labelled Max Payne 3, i think it would have sold better just as Max Payne so people didn't feel like they were missing out when they bought it. AceRay
R* have never made a truly awful game, all they're bad games are simply not very interesting or creative, like Manhunt 2.
Triple Penetration
Manhunt 1 & 2 were my favorite murder simulators, oh god how many times I've beat them and know everything in them by my heart. Oh wow, truly a masterpiece. I mean, the ending of Manhunt 2 was so unexpected for me and tied all binds together in such a short time it struck me with a blast to explain what happened throughout the story. The first one was purely genius by making you do things no other game has made you to. Max Payne 3 was almost like a FPS game and Dan Houser even admitted it was almost too much like any other company's game, but it doesn't dissapoint as it still gives us more insight in Max Payne's life - he's a badass character. I didn't like multiplayer, but only because I don't like multiplayers in third person shooters. It's not R*'s fault. Vice City Stories is by far my favorite III-era GTA, with story having a deep context and the characters were pushed out to maximum on what that engine could - you can't make much of blocky hands and lifeless faces. I'm sure if it was more like IV, more people would like it, but man, it was so good on its own too. My only complaints would be about Liberty City Stories - crazy hookers and (LCS spoiler, read only if you finished the story or just don't care) your mom trying to kill you, but then I could put San Andreas story in same place. Somehow people like both LCS and SA, even though they both had the worst storylines from all GTA games. But who cares? What matters is the rest of what those both games gave us. The new features such as LCS being III with bikes? Yes. And SA having the biggest GTA map? Hell yeah! Infact, both those games have by far more things and better storylines than most of other games. P.S. To the one who mentioned Table Tennis - it was just purely for showing off what the RAGE engine could do and R* made it playable. It's not a game, it's a benchmark. Too bad we had to pay for it. paul
I've never played a bad R* game. The only one i had doubts about was RDR as in "f*ck all that horses and sh*t" but I was completely wrong, the game's amazing.
Hodor Hodor
Well the only games i didnt like was LCS because when you finished the story there was no extra activities to do but the story was good and la noire i never really got into it!

Mr Rabbit
GTA SAN ANDREAS ok joking but Red dead revolver was boring plus i liked la noire, not fully what i expected but it was a game i have waited for for years (the chance to be a detective) and it did not disappoint. AZAZEL
Not going to chastise Rockstar for scooping up what Capcom left of Red Dead Revolver, and releasing it. Considering how the game came into being, it could have gone much worse. I haven't played VCS nor LCS, and the only game I was slightly disappointed by, was L.A. Noire, which while only being published by Rockstar, surely has Rockstar influences all the same. It was a neat concept, and I enjoyed it for a bit, but the value and replayability just wasn't there. Algonquin Assassin
No, I went off to playing Saints Row 2, a far better game. I used to be this naive at one stage until I realized SR2 was mediocre and went straight back to GTA IV. OT: I don't feel R* have truly made a "bad" game. Sure there are some I'm not really fond of (LCS, the Smuggler's Run games etc), but it's not because I think they're bad. They're good games just not something I "love". Then again there are few games in general that I think are bad. Usually if I feel something is going to suck I avoid it like a plague in progress. I'm pretty easy to please really. Dingdongs
SR2 better than IV? Are you inhaling horse urine then coming onto the forums? As for bad R* games, definitely the stories games sucked. Max Payne 3 wasn't a bad game, in fact it was great... it just didn't really live up to the other two in the series. If it were a standalone shooter not named Max Payne 3, it'd have all your blessings.

Remix
I'd say LA Noire LA Noire was not developed by Rockstar. They weren't necessarily bad games, but the GTA VCS and LCS didn't interest me too much.

Exkabewbikadid
Manhunt - great concept, but bland execution. Manhunt 2 - repeated the same under-developed formula as the first one with a much sh*ttier story. I'd actually love to see a third attempt done with the RAGE engine, but I think we're sh*t out of luck, f*ck you very much governments around the world. Max Payne 3 - even if it were called something else, it would still be a generic, one-trick pony with some otherwise great visuals. I actually wish this had been Manhunt 3 instead. The grizzly Brazilian setting would have worked incredibly well for a Manhunt title.

matajuegos
GTA VCS has the same quality story and characters as other GTAs. This. And I enjoyed VCS more than IV. This ^^^ Actually, I felt like VCS was better in the storyline than IV, it shows how the crime doesn't pay (your gf gets killed, ur mom stole the drug, your sergeant betrays u ) and also shows us how even if you have the power of all the city, even if you have all the money in the world, everything will go down the toilet because you will get killed after all, no matter what do you do, if you live in a life of crime you'll never get out and will kill your family, friends, and you at the end
Alastair Smyth
The GTA-storylines were all unrealistic, repetitive and somehow very lacking. That does not make the series bad though, it's the best in the genre. As I've mentioned before, I don't play GTA for the story. Compared to the original Max Payne games, they have slaughtered MP3. You need to be a fan in order to understand this and not somebody who jumped on the bandwagon last May. Seperated from the series, it's a good game though. Smuggler's Run and State of Emergency just weren't for me. Beaterator was downright silly. I don't need virtual instruments or drum machines to make music, then I definitely do not need a PSP game. The other games were the bomb. Apart from MP3, I enjoyed them all, no matter whether R* developed or just published. ccrogers15
State of Emergency was pretty fun when I was a kid.It was State of Emergency 2 that was bad. Except they did not even make state of emergency 2. DC Games bought the IP from rockstar in an attempt to start a major series, and they developed the second game but it flopped horribly for being bland, uninteresting and too hard for anyone to play. The series was ended after it flopped. State of emergency 1 was awesome, but the second was horrible. Rockstar NEVER should of sold it. It could of been there next big IP.
