How great would it be that every now and then, when you're cycling through Los Santos, and a train comes around the corner full speed destroying everything on it's road!

Yea in SA it was cool and all how you could drive trains, but damn it was more linear than Max Payne 3!

 

It should take skill to drive a train. You should have to steer adjascent to the tracks, otherwise you get de-railed cool.gif

To have them derail by their own speed, yes sure.

But what i really want is to be able to acutally blow the train off the tracks myself. I've always hated it when games put trains in only for them to be the ultimate immovable object, ala GTA IV. If i turn my bazooka to the trains attention and shoot it up, if its not gonna explode in an awesome ball of flame, I atleast want the sucker to derail by my own hand devil.gif

I'm all for this, provided that the train causes a lot of damage for everything that gets caught in its path. I can't wait to drive a train and crash it on a busy street or freeway.

Gimme derailing trains and I'll be happy. Long story short. Also I like them to be indestructible, otherwise why are you riding a train?

Only if you could get in a moving one while having 6 stars and you just hide killing cops maybe for trophies or w/e.

This is RAGE engine we're talking about here though.

Everything is physical in the game meaning it's slightly realistic and not like the old GTA games.

Derailing trains would be epic! Being able to smash anything in your way, and having your train get smashed up. Imagine derailing right at a busy road and landing on top of cars, while sliding down the street smashing anything in your way.

 

I'd also like multiple trains on the same tracks, how funny would it be slamming into the back of another train while it's at a station?

Meh... I'd rather they worked on something more fun, in SA when you did it.. ok the trains going fast, your screens shaking slightly, then it derails, falls on its side and what not.. then what? you climb out like its an upside down car. Useless really catspider.gif

Going back renderware? No way. I love the III era but I am inlove with the euphoria physics. Hitting a guy with a pcj is much more fun in IV cause sometimes they flip sometimes you run right into their nuts it's different every time <3

Remember that mission in GTA IV where you had to chase the bikers through the subway and the trains were derailed on the bridge? On top of that, the game had two other trains waiting because they saw the crash. I have noticed that when you are in a mission that involves train interaction, it is on the wrong side of the rails like the mission "Bang Bang Bang" were you blew up a train.

ME TOO! Thats only one of the many reasons i think San Andreas was the best GTA in the series. I was always surprised by something in that game, and i spent countless hours just screwing around with the trains. I hope Rockstar brings back some of the the craziness i've come to expect.
