Judging by the pics, is it safe to say that the city of Los Santos itself is gonna be bigger than the entire Liberty City map? You can see the shadows cast by buildings at extremely long distances, and they're very realistic (covering the roads and so on). I know that GTA IV screenshot is a random PC screen, and we don't know his settings, but damn. There really is a major difference. Look at the horizon line as well. The depth of field filter really improves the realism of the visuals. You had it in GTA IV as well with the 'definition' turned off, but it wasn't nearly as advanced. The design of buildings is a lot different in NY and LA. Also, on the IVs pic, the chopper is flying over the poor neighbourhood. I mus tsay, that shadows are better in the V pic, also some details, but the last ones are not seen very well becasue, like i said, the chopper on the IVs pic is too high up. The lights are not turned on in the houses on the IVs pic also, that may leave this grey feel. Sky is pretty much the same. But i think someone should take a better picture and turn the graphic values to the max first, this IV picture isnt done on full graphics for sure. Otherwise people will just rush to the airport and turn the rest of the map into a ghost town like GTA IV . The huge mountains, parks and such should make for great multiplayer sessions. NY is not supposed to be calm... they are far from it! ^ How calm is that? Edit: The lighting in IV isn't calm either, look at the city, the people on the streets, and it's traffic (horrible drivers)! But after seeing the trailer it feels like a step back with the screenies.
