For example in cops n crooks, could it ever be possible to 'relocate' getaway vehicle spawns? or possible to give the 'boss' player a better weapon to start with? If not possible, what could be changed about modes? To benefit them, rather than ruin the fun, modders could be our best friends or our worse enemies I think. I'm guessing a mod could honestly add a lot to the game modes, if he is willing to play honestly and just make it a little more fun for the other players. Relocating the getaway vehicle would be tricky, since no one has really taken the time to make mods set for specific game modes. With some creativity we could cover the getaway vehicle with a large object like a building so you can't get in. There are as well ways for us to get in the getaway car and move it somewhere else but it's tricky. We can give any player we want all weapons, including the hidden pool cue weapon, along with armor. If the modder has fairly good mods they can teleport you wherever, including the prison cage, delete your weapons, and put a hippo suit on you. It's tough to answer the modder vs modder question as many people have many different mods. I am protected from anyone using any publicly available mod, giving me an advantage against other hackers. When we release our menus we include Whitelists to protect our friends and premium buyers. If you find any of this helpful I can make a full tutorial telling you the disadvantages of the mods, and how you can survive a little longer.. maybe even beat them if they suck enough. edit: just to make a note so you can understand my prospective on things, I freeze any abusive modders PS3 that I find. I don't like that. So we are not all friends, not even close. Any sort of guide or counter-modder strategies would make a useful topic ---- Reason I asked about game specific mods, was just for fans of the modes, to try different 'twists' on them. SARDYNA108 Posted September 1, 2012 Share Posted September 1, 2012 If you ask about anti-cheaters tactics you have to know that when they got bored of crashing servers and ruining games they usualy go to Free Mode to spawn some ramps, drive around etc and its a good time to fight back. For some reson they never just join & crash Free Modes like they do anywhere else, they need to have serious reason to do it. One of best tactics is to get yellow (if you know what I mean) and start micspamming. Some cheaters may try to teleport and crash you out, to protect yourself you need to stand near a burning car and go to pause menu so you die and dont respawn and they cant find you. Unfortunately if one of cheaters is host and he has kick cheat he can still kick you out. Another good tactic is to crash them out with Tug glitch or crash their games by tricking them into doing sniper scope glitch. One more tactic that wont work for everyone is to trap host, I often get host if the previous host leaves so I use one of trap glitches to trap host than he leaves and I get host, I kick all cheaters, they always got mad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

V files and all that stuff will be identical like it was in IV; The fact that modding was made available for IV right now means that there will be mods on V PS3 from day one.
