Alright Doom, I get your point of view and respect it. I guess we just have different definitions of what entails a complete player.

Here's my definition:

Let's put it like this.

If a wall on a house is partially missing, would you call that a complete house? No, you'd say that there's a hole in the house. Just like there's a hole in Curry's defensive game. Therefore, he can't be called a complete player. IMO.

That analogy is flawed. lol

People have plenty of 'partially missing' walls, they're called pony walls.

http://s32.postimg.org/q5h2fuuv9/pony_wall.jpg

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pony_wall

We understand that he's not Kawhi Leonard type of defender but he's definitely not Jose Calderon. lol

His ball handling skills and the way he can put up 3pts, definitely makes up for his "partially missing" defense.

Either way, nobody was saying he was complete. We're just laughing at the "incomplete" remarks. He's a point guard for a reason, the person who directs the offense. Which is why there are centers and other positions on the court. :)

Which is why MJ is the greatest to play the game. Easily could've won 7 straight championships if he didn't retire/play baseball.

Looks like Hornacek will be the next Knicks coach.....al least it's not Rambis.

Didn't he lose the locker room in Phoenix?

Either, the Cavs are just that good or that the Eastern Conference is just that bad. lol

A mixture of both, and the fact the Cavs are healthy won't help any team in a 7 game series. I honestly(and hope) they take down the Warriors or Thunder. I want to see LeBron win a ring in Cleveland.

He got sand-bagged by the GM who made bad roster moves.

My question to Phil Jackson is this - he went out of his "network" to interview Hornacek, why didn't he do that with Thibodeau?

Watch the Cavs do what the Spurs did in 2012.

10-0 to start the playoffs and lose 4 straight.

Not A Nice Person

^

mm, they might've hiccuped this game but it's unacceptable the amount of good shots the missed. Kevin Love had a 2 point right there and missed! !!

I like the OKC and Warriors so I don't care who wins on that side nnn.

I really want to see a Cavs vs OKC finals. Either Cleveland ends its title drought or Durant and Westbrook get rings. Can't go wrong.

I'm calling it now, Golden State will make this a close game.

Only if OKC allow them to make it close. The Warriors don't have an answer for Durant or Westbrook. Even Green, who is usually their best defender, is being made look mediocre defensively.

Steph Curry in a commercial for Muscle Milk lol

He needs it

It's not a flawed analogy, but your understanding of it might be flawed. Although you might just be doing that to be facetious, or maybe you're just that fastidious.

Of course, I meant walls that separate the inside of the house from the outside. Simply put, the outside walls.

hopefully OKC can get this next win at home and close it out in Golden State, I don't want this to go the full 7.

It's over if OKC wins the next game, but if it goes 2-2 back into GS, I can see them winning it in 7.

they're actually playing a healthy Thunder team, and that goes for the Mavericks, Spurs, Warriors and whoever else they might face... but it's not over yet.

Welp, I wanted to see a cavs Warriors rematch but I guess a rematch with lebron a KD will have to do it for me. I knew OKC would give the Warriors a tough match up but I never thought they get stomped in like this.

I love how everyone is disregarding the Toronto/Cleveland series, I can't tell you how many people have told me that it's still not a series and Cleveland has this wrapped up. If Toronto (Lowry) can show up in Cleveland like they did in Toronto then things will get very interesting out east.

Yea, they figured the series would be swapped, GS would be tied 2-2 and Cavs would be leading 3-1, but tables turned.

Warriors aren't just losing, they're getting wrecked. Down by 41, season high, back to back loses, first time all year.

That elbow injury must've been worse than it looked, Curry hasn't looked well since.

Oh well.

It's not just Curry, seems the only player who is playing decent is Klay.

I also like how a lot of folk are downplaying the Thunders monster run of destroying the two teams with 60+ wins during the season with.. well Spurs/Warriors are playing bad. Maybe the Thunder are just that damn good?

I don't remember him hurting his elbow, just his knee.

When did he get injured? Was it after game 2? Either way, that's a bs excuse. He's fine enough to play, he just plays like sh*t, that's all. Otherwise, he should be on the bench. Maybe someone should deflate his ego a bit, if he is playing hurt, which hurts the team.

Injuries should never be used as an excuse. If your playing, you cant use that bs. If the injury impacts your game that much, plus the teams chance of winning, you should be on the sidelines. If you're on the court, you should be able to perform. That goes for all sports.

I think the real reason is, the Warriors are facing adversity for the first time in a long time and they don't know how to deal with it. They're losing both the mental and physical part of the game. Plus, it doesn't help that they don't know how to defend Durant or Westbrook.

The OKC stars are playing like stars, the Warriors stars are playing like bums.

2-2 seems like a competitive series to me.... considering the Cavs have been slicing through the East like hot butter. Edited by DOOM!

It was during game 2.

He went for a loose ball going into the crowd, jumped over the front row of people and nobody caught him. Landed on his elbow or something, swollen and sore he said. Which he shouldn't have done anyways.

Either way, he didn't use it as an excuse but he definitely isn't playing like he was. 0/5 on uncontested 3pts last game, the elbow definitely is throwing off his shots.
