when Golden State has their rhythm together they simply cruise forward. the Cavs don't really have a rhythm at any end of the court, they just need to play power/grunt basketball in their condition. too many injuries, no depth, James energy is spent.

Now tristian Thompson is asking for a max deal. What the hell is up with all these guys wanting max deals. If he can improve his free throw shooting and better his offensive game than maybe he's worth it, but damn the cavs are gonna be in a pickle this off season

I'm going to agree, his stats don't exactly warrant anything close to a max, let alone have his name and "max" be in the same sentence. Just this year, he's putting up 8 PPG and 8 RPG, and hitting 0.7 BPG, average numbers for an NBA center. Unless he's that much of a force on the court, those numbers aren't too convincing at all. If there's a big man that truly deserves a moderate or big contract, it's going to be Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, and (possibly) DeAndre Jordan. Like you said, Thompson really needs to improve his game and prove to NBA GM's that he's worth the money.

I think the whole Blatt vs Lebron thing is just media bullsh*t, watching the team all season they looked like they had no problems, in fact they were hugging it out right after sweeping Atlanta. Media said the same about Spoelstra and Lebron his first year in Miami.

Philly will have a big say in what the Knicks do. Because of Embid's injury setback, rumor has them taking the Latvian kid Porzingis. That would leave Russell or Winslow to the Knicks - I'd love that.

Kevin Love has opted out of his contract. A bit of interesting news, to say the least. Cavs/LeBron James gave up young potentially good players for a one year run with Love. What a complete waste. Kevin Love should just go back to Minnesota.

 

I see him going to LA or New York. Lakers should stop all plans to retrieve, the crippling, Dwayne Wade and put all resources into getting Kevin Love. They could draft a D'Angelo Russell or Emmanuel Mudiay, ball handlers or simply trade down.
