I have mixed feelings about Carmelo Anthony. I know I'm in the minority, but I'll never regard Carmelo Anthony as an all-time great Knick (to me, he's more of an all-time Nugget anyway and overrated). Aside from that 2012-13 season, his time here wasn't all that. Donnie Walsh had the right long-term plan, but Dolan, ticked off that LeBron didn't come here, blew up Walsh's plan and gave up the farm to get Carmelo, and the rest is history. I'll really go off if Rose & Co. retire his number....over Bernard King????.....oh hell naw!!! That short time BK was here, he did more with less talent....took NY to SEVEN games against the eventual champion Celtics in 1984!

But really though, yes it is crazy. My team sitting at 6 right now, but I feel like Warriors are stronger than the ranking shows considering we were absolute ass before Jimmy Butler. I think we were 11 seed before Jimmy, and got up to 4th or 5th recently.

I'm not exactly a fan of Malone, not at all... but the decision to fire him at this stage of the season is simply inexplicable... much more logical, to me, is the firing of Booth who failed to build a deeper and more quality roster around the Joker (and let's not even talk about the Westbrook disaster...)

We were close to compete for a second consecutive win on the road against OKC yet the refs had to f*ck a great match up.

 

We need 2 wins out of the last 3 to secure 3rd seed. We've been playing back to backs a lot due the the canceled games tho so I'm proud of this team so far.

Considering how long we were in the game (at least until the "robbery"...) I'm not exactly convinced that The Thunder are excited to play a series against us in the playoffs....

This Western Conference is something else ... Wolves bet the Grizzlies, which did nothing for the Wolves but it did a whole for the Warriors on their day off - jumped above the Grizzlies, from the 7th seed to the 6th seed lol

 

Lots of huge games coming up on the final 2

 

Nuggets vs Grizzlies, Clippers @ Warriors for the main seeding and Clippers @ Kings & Grizzlies @ Mavs for the play-in 7/8th seeds

No winning in the west. Wolves were always gonna be tough too but there is literally no easy opponent in the west. If we don't fix the defense we will go to cancun in 4.

Frustrating Knick loss. Two glaring issues for me;


1) The offense can't be Jalen Brunson dribbling & dribbling for 18 seconds while the other four guys stand around. That's not an offense - you're not winning in the playoffs with the iso crap. Move the ball around!

2) I don't care what defense Detroit is playing. It's on Thibs and his staff to adjust. Figure out a way to get our main offensive weapon (KAT) the ball down low so he can operate. Ten points in a playoff game and none in the fourth quarter???


And where was Cam Payne????

I watched G2 highlights and KAT moves like a sloth out there, especially in the 4th.  Like he's playing first game in the regular season.

Clippers with healthy Kawhi might actually win the West. They look extremely good and have good depth too. I could see them give serious problem to OKC.

No depth in the lakers. 40 yo has to play 45 minutes. No size either. What a terrible match up for this wolves team. They have 8 top players to rotate constantly. Randle won't be this good against any other team i promise.

Whew! I'm a Knicks fan, but that was a foul on the last shot. Very happy with KAT's play the last two games.  that's why he was brought here.

 

Lakers are done, so are the Bucks. Pacers ran an NBA 2k offensive clinic on them.

Wolves are just good on defense. I knew it wasn't gonna be easy for the Lakers and quite honestly, I thought Wolves would take care of them in 6

 

Randle? Idk about that. He fits this team very well, just like KAT fits the Knicks well. That was a good trade for both teams

Yep, KAT was good on the Wolves but I think he fits the Knicks better - just like Randle fits the Wolves better.

 

Love seeing the Lakers get cooked lol

 

 

 

It also sucks for Dame. Came back from a DVT, just to pop his Achilles and lose out on next season, too.
